Escape to your own private northern Michigan retreat on 40 secluded acres in Vanderbilt. This cozy and welcoming log cabin is designed for large groups up to 14 guests, offering the perfect setting for family gatherings, retreats, snowmobile trips, and weekend getaways. Enjoy total privacy, beautiful wooded surroundings, and unique amenities like a private pickleball court, fire pit, and room to explore.
The space
Easy access off the highway, with plenty of parking.

The cabin has 3 bedrooms. 2 private bedrooms on the main level and the 3rd bedroom is a loft upstairs. There are two bunk beds, one with twin beds for kids (top twin bunk has a weight limit of 200 Ibs) and another with two queens beds and a trundle bed. There are also 2 queen size beds in the loft as well.

The cabin is on 40 acres and also has a private pickleball/ basketball court. We will have a few paddles and balls for use. There is also some yard games. There is an outdoor fire pit for the summer nights and a griddle top grill for use.

The cabin has central heat and a fireplace in the winter.
There is not central AC but there will be floor AC units for all the bedrooms in the summertime.
We do have a basement, it is currently unfinished and the only need to go into the basement is for laundry.

Only a few miles from beautiful Thumb Lake for fishing and swimming. Black Bear Golf Course only a few minute drive. 15 minutes from Tree Tops and Boyne Mountain for skiing. 45 minutes to Petoskey or Mackinac City.


The guests will have full access to the cabin, the barn will be locked.
