The staff were exceptional down to a tee. Every point of contact we had was a pleasure, from the front desk staff, to Carlos the bell boy- even the welcoming and professional service we received in the lounge bar. The best part for us was being smack dab in the middle of Vancouver, and feeling a part of the city for at least a couple of days.

Communication at front desk needs improvement! First, no detailed explanation of the amount withheld for our 3 night stay which was substantially higher than Expedia quote. Made me question our Expedia package. Second, a request to cancel overnight parking for the last 2 days of stay was made before we had even stayed a full first day was not acted on and resulted in an extra overnight charge of $55. Third, when checking out on final day, due to long lineups and need to get to airport, unable to speak with a live person to rectify their error. Unfortunately there is no ability to phone or email the front desk about these type of issues. Very frustrating.

Overall, it’s a good hotel in a great location. Good restaurants nearby and friendly staff. Our complaint is that our 2-bedroom suit only had ONE shower, which was a terrible surprise for us and quite frankly, unacceptable.

This property is in a good downtown location. We found the property condition clean and well maintained. Check in and out was a bit slow as the front desk staff is small and there is almost always a wait at the front desk. We stayed three nights and every night we were woken by passing sirens in the street, and this despite us staying on a high floor. It’s not really any fault of the hotel but it does reveal that the window glass is maybe not as thermal and sound protected as it could be.
