Room was fine. Checkin went great. Reserved a shuttle bus for the morning. 5:30 AM. Recieved a phone call at 4:55 stating the bus was there. Rushed to the lobby to find we had missed the bus. Informed the clerk we had reserved the 530 bus and was advised that bus was full and we needed to order an uber. Not to happy about that since we picked this spot specifically because of the shuttle. The shuttle arrives and there is 1 person who was getting on. Suddenly they found our reservation and we were allowed on. Cancelled my uber, which i was charged a canselation fee. On a good note. The staff were were very friendly. Just a bit unorganized. We did recieve a very good bagged take away breakfast. Honestly, would i go back. Probably not. But things could have been worse.

The room was spotless. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and kind. The breakfast in the morning was excellent - warm boiled eggs, juices, cereals, toast and muffins etc. good coffee and tea selection. I am gluten free and the hostess ran to bring cereal, bread and even a toaster reserved for gluten free! The dining room was bright and comfortable and clean. I loved the Scottish theme throughout the hotel. It was delightful! I will go there again! AND it was good value for money! Also an easy walk to the Bridgeport station in the morning for sky train or bus!

Hotel itself was good, did have issues with not having our shuttle in the morning or coming back. I do understand we were delayed with our plane coming back, but when we were leaving on our trip. somehow they didn't have the promised seats for us. But they paid for the cab, which was decent of them. Also while we were in the air there were two charges made on one of our credit cards, which we found strange as everything was all paid for. When we got back (taking another cab) the clerk was very confused with our stay, but then somehow cleared it all up. He asked for asked for my DL, and then tired and frustrated we left to go back home to Pitt Meadows and half way realized that my DL was still at the Hotel, it was not returned. So we came home and dropped our family off and then my spouse drove all the way back to retrieve it. Even though I called the Hotel to tell them he was coming the clerk still asked him for his DL?

Everthing was dirty from the moment you stepped in from doors, windows, elevators, still had cheap xmas decorations up. Both toilet paper holders were broken. Toilet tank leaked. Filty fridge. Unacceptable. Like everyone gave up on the olace. We locked out of the hotel for 5 minutes and a hotel guest let me in as no one was at the front desk. Place is litered with rats outdoors. Do better.

Cute quaint building, clean room, super friendly staff. We had to leave at 430am and they had a breakfast bag for each of us ready. Road noise and airplanes are loud, bring earplugs.
