The photos don't do this retreat justice. If you are looking to watch butterflies, nature and lapping waves, far away in a quiet setting , then this is perfect!
The shoreline is a flat rock that we spent hours on, reading and looking up at the sunsets or moon.
You can hike along the shoreline in both directions looking for rocks or just admiring the view, we barely saw people and did not see any boats.
As for the cabana we were thoroughly impressed. You felt well cared for and meals were quick and so was clean-up, due to the to attention to details.
The fridge was a perfect size, we prepped food in advance and it held it all.
Sarah has created many cozy areas to relax in, we were 3 people and we each had our favourite spot.
The drive in is slow, bumpy with some areas with pools of water, but hang in there because the final destination is well worth it! It's 6 km of slow driving, taking 30-40 mins the first time.
Make sure to get ice before you get there, we got there late and made due for 3 days with our minimal ice from home. Otherwise you can stay there for a week.
We will return next year!!
