A cute little tiny home tucked away in the trees, easy to find, and a short drive to the Sunset Oaks venue! I would bring some lighting if you’re needing to get ready for an event as the mirror location is a little dark but otherwise we enjoyed our stay. I would definitely stay again if ever in the area.

Great stay at the cottage

We loved this little cottage, the peaceful surroundings, the nature & the amazing hospitality from the hosts. They were incredible helping us turn around a large uhaul and trailer, making sure we were able to safely get out the next morning. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Peaceful

This adorable little cottage in the woods was a peaceful retreat for our long stay of 11 nights. No noise. Only the sound of pine needles swishing with the wind.The manager responds very quickly to any issues. Walmart is a short drive away for any supplies.

Nestled in a picture perfect area..

We had a great time, the owners were very welcoming, friendly and gracious. Even with fireworks booming outside the cottage was pretty quiet during New Year’s celebrations. The only suggestions I would make is to bring a topper for the bed because the bed is firm and possibly place a Solo Stove or Breeo to enjoy an outside fire.

A great hidden gem in Tyler! Far enough off the main roads that it’s quiet & remote, but close enough to the I-20 that everything is close by & easily accessible. The host are great at ensuring you have everything you need to make the place functional for an extended stay with a fully functional kitchen stocked with all the appliances and dishes you could need. They have a small herd of sheep on the property that are fun to sit outside & watch. I thought my boyfriend might leave me to live there!

Very Relaxing

This was for my son and his new wife. Based on their feedback. They said they loved the location and having their coffee on the porch. They only had a few days and said it was a great place to get away, spend time together and relax.

Relaxing Rural Getaway

It's a nice little cabin with everything you need. Our dogs enjoyed going for walks on the property. We found ourselves wishing for a fire pit, which we have enjoyed at other similar properties. Great communication from the host.

The location and peacefulness is beautiful. Please invest in better pillows. The pillows provided are flat and hard. Lesson learned for me.... bring your own pillow!

Little Piece of Paradise

Wonderful experience. I felt like it was my (stress free) home away from home. The Cronans are wonderful people. They are great hosts as well. This mini getaway was a little piece of paradise for me. 🙏😊

Sweet Retreat

This is a darling little place that gives you a feeling of getting away from it all without being too far away from it all. It is the perfect spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee on the little front porch listening to the birds. We especially enjoyed the sheep and watching the dogs work to guard their flock. We would definitely stay again!

All Our Needs Were Met

The cottage was the perfect setup for us and our 55 pd Goldendoodle. Very clean. Very quiet. Away from the highway traffic but centrally located. Pretty surroundings. Well supplied with essentials. We will stay again the next time we visit family in Lindale.

Great Stay In Tyler

We were there one night to visit the Kiepersol Winery and Caldwell Zoo. It's a great spot out in the country to get some shut-eye! The host was fantastic and the property was awesome! We would certainly do it again! Janice and Brett

Great Little Cottage

This property was absolutely amazing. We were attending a wedding at Sunset Oaks Venue about 1.5 miles from the cottage so it was an easy 5 min drive back and forth. The layout of the property is fantastic for short stays and would love to build one just like it myself in the future. The property exceeded our expectations and they made the most of such a small space. If we find ourselves in the Tyler area again we would stay here.

Very quiet, private, beautiful setting.

The cabin is composed of three large rooms. Kitchen had every appliance needed to comfortably cook, eat, and relax. Bedroom was also large, with a big dresser and luggage stand. The bathroom was also large and well finished. There was even a cute front porch with two chairs.

Peaceful stay

The cottage was just as described as were the photos! So peaceful and quaint! IT’s everything you need for 2! We were planning to explore the area because that’s where my partner is working but I came down with a health issue! I was able to get my meds sent to the town and I recovered there in peace and quiet with the pups watching over me! Sweetest dogs ever! They worked with me with early check in for a small fee and I would recommend this little cottage to anyone that enjoys peace and quiet and clean and simple living with all the comforts of home!

Tiny House Trip

The house was perfect for our short visit to Tyler. One of the highlights was meeting Roxy and Bear, the two very large and very, very friendly white farm dogs. When we arrived they welcomed us and invited themselves in. Roxy tested the bed for us and helped herself to dinner. She was so pleased with us, she decided to hang out for a while. Unfortunately she stayed beyond her welcome. Lydia came to the rescue and we didn’t see Roxy and Bear again until they stopped by on the last day to tell us bye. We definitely will want to stay in Lydia’s tiny house the next time we are in the area. However, next time we will know not to be quite so encouraging to Roxy and Bear.
