Pictures were exactly what we experienced on site. Clean, comfortable beds, attention to the details of minor necessities of a trip, and we appreciated the ease of check in. We loved our stay here and will book again if available our next trip. Our favorite was the screened in porch off the living room where we enjoyed the peaceful marsh, birds, watching tide come in & out while enjoying our coffee.

The cords on a few are rusted in position so that lights and fan strength could not be adjusted.

Great location to North End activites, including Fort Screven and North Beach area. Nice view of the salt marsh. Area downstairs with couches, TV, and hottub is nice for four to six people. If you happen to be bringing kayaks to use, be advised-at low tide there is no water in front of the dock on the back of the property. High tide has plenty of depth, so a six-hour window or so, before to after high tide, to use the dock to shove off and come back. There's also not much water to travel on. Three small land bridges kept us within about 500 yards or so of the house. Great property overall, on a quiet cul-de-sac.

Beautiful Location

Our stay here was a blast! The location was beautiful. It was so nice to wake up to the view which is always my favorite part of staying in a rental like this. There are tons of windows so you can really enjoy it to the full effect, and the house was nice and clean with no issues to speak of. My husband had his fishing trip planned here since we reserved the home! We spent some time exploring the island and touring the local lighthouse and museum, and learning about the history there. We also drove into Savannah and enjoyed doing the same there. We dined at the Pirate House which was built in 1753! The architecture there is unrivaled and made for a great Christmas stroll. I would visit again and again. Thank you Tybee Joy!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Marsh Mellow is a great place with everything you will need for a restful weekend. I planned a Golden Girls weekend with 6 friends all over the age of 55. This property was perfect as it is just as you come onto Tybee Island tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. We were able to enjoy our morning coffee on the screened-in back porch which has a view of the Marsh and we got to see herons every morning. The kitchen had anything you could ask for including both a keurig and a regular coffee maker. Their was a small office of the kitchen area which would be great for anyone who needed to work remotely while visiting Tybee. The Master Bedroom was a nice size and had a large bathroom with a shower and a jetted tub. The shower had safety handles which definitely we definitely appreciated and the master closet was huge. The other bedrooms were very comfortable as well. There is a dog park located closeby for your furry friends. You are only a few minutes away from the Crab Shack and you can get to the southern end of the island in just a few minutes. The thing I enjoyed the most about Marsh Mellow was the secluded location. We were able to enjoy the tranquility of the island and still be able to have some fun at Tybee time and take in a sunset at AJ's. I would definitely come again. The property management company was great and provided everything we needed in a timely manner. Thanks again for a wonderful weekend.
