We had a great time at this house! Wish we could’ve stayed one more night just to enjoy the outdoor space since we never got to chill in the hammocks. We loved the game room, enjoyed the hot tub, and the beds were so cozy! We didn’t use the kitchen, but all necessities seemed to be there. We were able to do a load of laundry as well, which was very helpful for packing back up. We loved the decor as well, and it was so nice having the mini split units in each bedroom. Everything was very clean, and we truly enjoyed our stay here.

Overall, the house was as expected. Everything in good working order. Clean and presented as in pictures. HVAC in each room was nice for everyone to have their choice. Game room has no AC, so fun in the evening when it’s cooler out. Host was prompt with responses to messages. We had a great visit with our Marine son! Thank you!

US Marine getaway

I booked this place for my son and his friends - Marines stationed at Twenty Nine Palms. They had a great time! They enjoyed every part of the property and ate foods they had been missing. Even though we didn’t spend much time there, it felt really good to see them chill while there for the weekend.

Great Stay

This was a cute place! Our only complaint is that the window shades are see-through. The room that faces the front struggled with light streaming through from the motion-sensor cameras. We tried everything to turn it off and ended up having to concoct a situation with a sheet hanging from the window to block sun. Not ideal. Having a better curtain situation would have vastly improved our sleep in all of the rooms.Otherwise, we enjoyed the space. The hot tub was nice and our last evening we enjoyed s'mores over the fire. Definitely had all the basics covered and was a short drive to Joshua Tree and other sights.

Great Location and Fun Amenities, but Some Maintenance Needed

We had a positive stay overall at this freestanding house. The location was great, each bedroom had its own A/C unit, and the home was clean, functional, and accurately represented in the listing photos. My kids especially loved the hot tub, hammock swings, and game room — the stand-up arcade was a big hit!That said, it’s a fairly typical VRBO setup, with furnishings and equipment that were on the cheaper side. The pool table pockets were broken, the foosball table legs kept falling off making it unusable, and the cowboy pool had a leak that prevented it from holding water. The garage game room, while fun, was only usable early or late in the day due to lack of A/C. Also, we ran out of trash bags and had to use a bathroom trash can for the last few days, and two of the bedrooms were missing smoke detectors. I raised a few of these concerns — the owner was very responsive, but the staff wasn’t able to resolve the issues during our stay.Overall, we still enjoyed our time and appreciated the space, but a few maintenance updates would make this place even better.

Perfect getaway

We had a wonderful extended weekend, enjoying the jaccuzi at night with the stars above. The house is very tasteful decorated and furnished, we felt right at home.

Cozy Desert Home

My fiance and I had the Best "life break" at the house. A Super cozy living room invites you in to start your stay with a large TV to catch up and Binge your favorite shows/movies. The green tiles in the kitchen added a warmth and fresh feel that sets the color tones of the entire house. The bed was very comfy with plenty of pillows. We Adore the well appointed back yard with plenty of spots to relax and chill from the hot tub to the hammocks hanging around the firepit. You'll have a great time here too! The Host was very quickly responsive, friendly and super helpful.
