Welcome to The Northwoods Bear Lakehouse, by Sacha Stays of Wisconsin. This 4BR, 3BA with 250+ ft. of lakeshore, the cabin is the perfect getaway for those seeking a peaceful escape, yet close to outdoor adventures. Located less than 1 hour from the Twin Cities (Minneapolis / St. Paul)!

As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a warm, open-concept living space with a stunning view of the lake. The living room with 20-ft ceilings is perfect for lounging by the fireplace, while the fully-equipped kitchen offers all the amenities to prepare delicious meals.

The cabin comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests with its four spacious bedrooms, each furnished with a comfortable queen bed. A fifth queen-sized luxury futon is located in the loft area. No bunkbeds ensure safety and comfort. Three full bathrooms ensure there's no waiting in line to freshen up.

Property offers direct access to Elbow Lake, a shallow spring-fed environmental lake where you can fish, launch a kayak/canoe (vegetation and water level permitting), or simply relax by the shore. The recreational Upper Turtle Lake boat ramp is only 3 min away. During winter, the lake offers unparalleled snowmobile and ice fishing opportunities. A 7-seat hot tub overlooking the lake is available (closed during frigid temperatures or severe weather alerts).

Location is unbeatable. You're within walking distance of St. Croix Casino, where you can try your luck, enjoy live entertainment, and savor delicious meals. The nearby ATV/snowmobile trails are easily accessible, providing hours of thrilling rides through the scenic Northwoods. Drop a ball at one of the nearby golf courses. If you want to unwind without leaving the comfort of your Lakehouse, play an endless amount of board games on your Infinity Table. A 3-season, partially finished, and semi-insulated garage has been converted into a complimentary game room for your enjoyment (bring a coat as the garage can get cold during winter). Kids will also have a blast at their very own clubhouse!

The Northwoods are known for their abundant wildlife, and this lakehouse is no exception. Keep your eyes peeled for deer, eagles, and a variety of bird species right from your window. Don't forget your camera!

Perfect Cabin getaway for golf and casino fun

Enjoyed a great stay at this cabin. Played golf at Cumberland nearby and hit the casino in the evening. Hot tub and ping pong in the garage was a nice touch. Casino a short walk and cabin offered plenty of privacy. Thanks to Andy for the good communication and hosting us!

Spectacular Home with everything you will need

This place was perfect for our family. We had 9 people and the place was amazing. A nice outside area and very close to everything from the Dollar General to restaurants and a casino. The home is remodel and packed with everything you will need. The owner was highly attentive and very easy to get ahold off. The host is an awesome communicator and responded within an hour for most messages. Coldest weekend of the year ( -35) so we were no able to use the hot tub due to safety reasons, totally understandable. Furnace quit working one night and Andy was immediately on the phone with an HVAC place, it was fixed within a few hours. The fireplace was a life saver. Absolutely beautiful home with everything you need. Master bed was very comfortable and all other rooms also comforted. Upstairs game table was a lot of fun also. A lot of room and everything we needed to cook. I would definitely stay here again. Very close to town and highly recommend the Frontier for excellent food! 5 star stay in my book!

Grown-up Fest

The cabin was so beautifully decorated, had everything we needed and a great view of a small lake - where lots of Canada Geese and a few Trumpeter Swans hung out. We dueled each other with the garage games and the "infinity table" - many laughs and fun memories were made.

Wonderful Cabin

It was nice and cozy. Far enough from others and we even went outside and test how loud we could be as we brought a karaoke machine. It was perfect, we couldn't even hear it when we got outside around halfway to the other neighbors. Infinity table was the best thing there with lots of games. Andy was super helpful and got back to me very quickly any time I had questions. Would love to come back next time. 5/5 for sure

Winter Getaway in April

Our family plans a winter getaway at a rental property every year. This year's winter excursion had to be delayed to April, which means no snow shoeing, X-country skiing, snowman making. Instead, we were met with temps in the 50's and full sun. We all went home with sunburn on our faces. We were very happy to have selected this VRBO rental. It had everything we needed for four adult couples. Plenty of space to spread out, four queen beds, fully stocked kitchen, and a large space for games in the garage including ping pong, pool table (small), and other fun activities. The fire pit was used both nights of our stay. This location is highly recommended by us. It will be on our short list of places to revisit in the future.
