This entirely private 1000 sq. ft. guesthouse is brand new - constructed in 2022. 1 full bedroom additional room that could be office, guestroom or TV room. Spectacular mountain views allow for tranquil mountain sunrises and breathtaking sunsets. Walking distance from Ventana Canyon hiking trail and resort and only two miles from stunning Sabino Canyon - a walking, hiking, birding or cycling paradise. Our full kitchen and versatile working spaces will make your foothills stay a dream. Tucson's world renowned Mexican food is just down the street at El Charro Café, as are many other wonderful restaurants. Great shopping close by. Enjoy your own private house right next to one of Tucson's premier resorts. Walk in shower has grab bars for anyone with those needs. Back patio provides relaxing area with lounger and table for peaceful retreats.

Lovely new guesthouse with polished concrete floors and modern architecture vibe. Furnishings are casual, but there is a StressLess recliner in the bedroom. The bed is a Sleep Number model which accounts for the 4 instead of 5 star rating. Kitchen is basically supplied and there is an induction cooktop and stove with convection options. Host is responsive and accommodating – we requested additional hangers and a scent free environment, linens, laundry, cleaning supplies and these were readily provided. The walkout patio was relaxing and offered a partial view of the Santa Catalina mountains which are very close by. The Ventana Canyon trailhead is within a short walking distance. You will hear road noise, but not at night – it is dark and quiet.

Excellent Property and Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this extremely well-appointed guesthouse. Roomy and comfortable for my husband, our small dog, and me. We loved the private patio and the automatic screen for shade was a plus. This beautiful location can't be beat - and so close to our favorite places: Ventana Canyon, Sabino Canyon, Tohono Chul Gardens, and the east side of Saguaro National Park. Bert and Gigi, the owners, couldn't have been nicer. Thanks for a wonderful stay, we'd love to come back again!

Everything was as advertised. The space is well appointed with new top end appliances, a terrific sleep number mattress and very comfy furniture. Terrific location near hiking and great restaurants. Also our host Bert communicated quickly. We would rent this space again for sure.

An idyllic space.

We extended our stay and the five star ratings say it all. This is a new, quiet, private, cool, roomy and very clean guesthouse. The kitchen is very well outfitted if you're cooking in but there are some great restaurants within minutes as well. The hosts were available if needed before and during our stay. Gigi helped us plan our hikes one of which was in their backyard, the Ventana Canyon, well we had to drive to the trailhead, perhaps 4 minutes away. A beautiful pool was a welcome afternoon space after morning hikes, the sleep number bed and nice linens enhanced restful nights.

Beautiful foothills casita

New stand-alone casita in an ideal area of Tucson. Nestled under the Catalinas with multiple hiking trails, art galleries, fine restaurants and easy access to all points EWNS. We have been coming to Tucson for 15 years and found this property meeting all our needs. Casita is roomy, modern and very well equipped. Beautiful grounds with a multitude of birds and walk to Ventana trail for hiking. Gigi and Bert were available for any needs or information, yet, because of the placement of the casita relative to the living space of the house, it was very private. Would definitely return in the future .

Perfect location

This property was very spacious, beautiful and clean! Our hosts were very friendly and always accessible for questions and advice ie; hiking trails, restaurants, etc. Location was perfect! It’s really a one bedroom with a separate open room for more sleeping area. The amenities were very plentiful; everything that you would need. We loved our stay!

This home is fantastic. It is new, clean and tastefully decorated. My wife and I stayed there for three nights and would stay there again at the drop of a hat. The hosts were responsive to any questions we had yet left us to our privacy. The location is spectacular, situated in the Catalina foothills.
