Room was nice. However was very disappointed in the service. Housekeeping does not come by daily so they give you two towels and expect that to last three days. The food in bar was not what they advertised as they ran out of ingredients. Beer was warm at bar and they ran out of that. Morning breakfast was ok but they ran out of cream for coffee.

There was no body wash in the shower and the garbage containers were tiny. While they may call it the "Hotel Mccoy", it was unquestionably a motel. Breakfast everyday consisted of low-quality overcooked oatmeal, white bread which could be toasted, fresh fruit, Toast'em pop ups. It would be great to get away from the sugary pop ups and replace that with something healthier; just about anything would be healthier. Steel cut oatmeal would be a huge improvement over the low quality, overcooked oatmeal and replacing the supercheap white bread with whole grain bread would be great.

There are places that give you a room, and there are places that give you a story. Hotel McCoy is the latter. In short, Hotel McCoy does not overwhelm you with luxury; it wins you over with character. It is basic, yes — but it is clean, spirited, and possessed of that rare quality: character charm without pretense

This is probably my 4th time staying here. Its a great little spot. The employees are always polite. Beds and rooms are good, but the last two times i have smelled a light sewer odor. Not sure if its mold. The bathroom floor tile was loose so it could be. Hopefully they fix this. Its been going on for over a year
