Loved the home. We were lucky enough to add an additional day! Perfectly suited for dog lovers. They can run the entire property .The enclosed porch was great to relax and enjoy morning coffee. Or late night caps. Tons of personal touches. Hope they will have us back soon!

Fantastic little place to stop by when we went from Texas deeper into Colorado. Nice, clean and with great communication from the owners. The location was very easy to get to from the highway.Very dog friendly and my boys loved the fenced in backyard.

One of the cleanest places we've stayed. Loved the old part of Trinidad could easily walk to downtown. Loved the front porch!

great place to stay in between Texas and Colorado

very cute place to stay. Some notes from our trip- Neighborhood not nice but didn't feel dangerous- 1 bathroom for the 2 bedrooms- fenced in yard is great- washer / dry- fully stocked kitchen- recommend trying the chinese place down the road

Great place to stay while in Trinidad. The yard was perfect for our pups. The front porch was amazing, loved sitting out and watching the rain. House was perfect size, more than enough room for all of us. Kitchen was good size and had everything for cooking. Would definitely stay here again.

Traveling through

Wonderful house. Very clean and hosts were great. We travel through often from TX to CO and usually stay in a hotel. We opted for house this time and it was great. Will definitely be using this property again.

Summer Getaway

We absolutely enjoyed the stay. The home was beautiful and cozy. Convenient location for everything. Our dogs enjoyed it the most. Barking at Chico, the neighbors Chihuahua, and the park that is right around the corner. Lake Trinidad was a nice experience.

Comfortable and quiet

We enjoyed staying in this house in Trinidad. Even though very close to town and some traffic, inside the house was very quiet. The front porch a nice place to sit and read or talk as well.

After a hectic beginning of the year, with both of us working and me long hours doing the session at our Capitol. It was nice to breathe the same air. The home just embodies the feeling of serene stillness once you close the outside behind you.

Pit Stop

This was a great half way point during our trip from Utah to Texas. Kinda sketchy neighborhood but once you walk in its completely transformed. Live the coffee spot, cute and cozy rooms, large enough and yet cozy enough for 3 of us.

Cozy Cottage

Pleasantly surprised with this cute cottage! Everything was provided that you could possibly need. Owner thought of everything including dog treats. Very welcoming and attentive. Beds were comfy and the weather excellent. Never slept better! House is within walking distance to downtown. I would definitely stay there again! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Cute old house in a bad neighborhood

The house is fantastic. It’s an old charmer. The neighborhood is very rough and we don’t trust parking in the street. There were kids racing their cars. The house was uneven and sloped but that’s part of a good house. The yard was horrible and weeds would have been better but was just a muddy mess.

Crazy weather

We arrived shortly after an unprecedented amount of snow fell. The snow plows came through and all the snow was piled up on the curb so there was no parking. No fault of the host but would have liked a heads up so I could have planned accordingly. Overall it’s a cute and cozy cottage just as advertised. We will be coming back and hope this property will be available.
