Jostain syystä majoittaja ei ollut saanut tulostamme ilmoitusta eikä varausta hotels.comilta. Tiedä oliko vika nettiyhteyksissä vai missä. Majoittana otti meidät kuitenkin vieraanvaraisesti vastaan, olimmehan jo maksaneet majoituksesta. Maksua jouduimme selvittelemään majoittajan kanssa päivien aikana, koska ei tiennyt kuka hänelle maksaisi, kun rahamme eivät olleet hänelle vielä tulleet. Nainen siivosi meille huoneen, laittoi aamupala pöydän valmiiksi ja oli oikein ystävällinen. Asunnossa kilttejä koiria. Hotels.comiin hiukan pettynyt, kun varauksemme ei mennyt perille eikä majoittanut voinut olla valmistautunut tuloomme ja jouduimme selvittelemään tilannetta.

Dieci minuti prima del check-in, telefono alla proprietaria che mi informa che non esiste nessuna camera disponibile. Telefono ad Expedia che Le fa pressione affinchè trovi una alternativa: la proprietaria mi propone una stanza in una casa a venti minuti dal centro, senza colazione, senza chiavi ( per il primo giorno). Decidiamo di andare a vedere.Conosciamo la proprietaria che si scusa (non è riuscita nè a cancellare la prenotazione nè ad informarmi prima). La stanza non è ancora pronta, vediamo le lenzuola usate da cambiare per cui decidiamo di dare tempo alla proprietaria e andiamo in giro per Trieste, lasciando là le valigie e rimandando l'effettivo check in alla sera.ERRORE FATALE: in serata notiamo che solo le lenzuola sono cambiate ma non tutto il resto.La stanza proprio non va: calzini usati sul davanzale,i coprimaterassi sporchi, la ghiera-termosifone del bagno idem, la porta della stanza non ha la chiave,gli armadi stipati di roba altrui (non ci resta che posare le nostre valigie per terra e gli abiti sull'unica sedia disponibile) i tappetti sono pieni di peli ed è troppo tardi per protestare ( il centralino telefonico di expedia chiude alle 20). L'indomani Expedia mi informa che non può riprogrammare un'altra struttura (a loro spesa) perchè di fatto noi abbiamo accettato la alternativa proposta dalla proprietaria, la quale ci fa notare che paghiamo "solo" 50 euro a notte: cosa pretendiamo?
Non mi è restato che a mie spese andarmene appena potuto altrove.MEDITATE.
