The cabin was appropriately prepared. Love the electric fireplace though there is something to be said about the smell of real wood burning. Plenty of kitchen utensils and supplies. Hot tub was heated when we arrived. Video games were great, reminding me why I spent so many quarters on them when I was young. Wasn’t happy about stairs to loft, very steep and narrow. Two suggestions: 1) Get a new couch that is larger along with adding a chair. There is enough room. 2) Add a fire pit to front yard. It will fit.

Hot tub was hot. The kitchen had everything we needed including grilling tools. It was very clean. I felt secluded. Great ambiance.

We stayed here in October during the fall colors, they were amazing. We travel with our 2 dogs and this space was very accommodating. A cute cabin in the woods with everything you need for your stay. It was close to town and to Cades Cove. Easy access to Gatlinburg if you choose the busyness of the town. The hot tub was relaxing after a day of hiking. Beds were comfortable. We would stay here again.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this cabin. There were other cabins nearby, but it felt private. Convenient location to Townsend and Cades Cove. Comfortable front porch with rocking chairs. We did not use the hot tub. Nice laundry facility within a short walking distance, but we did not use the machines. Bed was very comfortable.

Lovely and cozy cabin. About as close as you can get to the Smoky Mountain National Park. Convenient to Townsend and only 30 minutes (or less) to Cades Cove, making it a great spot to stay if you want to go bike the cove on vehicle-free Wednesdays (which is what we did). Beds are comfortable. Hot tub was clean and easy to operate. It's a small space, but true to the listing. The separate laundry is a bit of a hassle, but the listing is clear on this point so no stars detracted. The grill is the type you might find at a park with no cover. Serviceable, but plan to use a LOT of charcoal and not ideal for foods that need to be covered. Lovely stay. We'd be happy to stay here again.

Cozy cabin, one small issue

We had overall a very nice stay. There was, however, a mouse that had gotten into the kitchen. The owner sent an exterminator within hours of us contacting him and refunded our cleaning fee after we requested it to be refunded. All the exterminator did was place another trap (rather than close any holes), and there was already a trap behind the stove; so needless to stay the mouse was an extra guest throughout our entire stay, and unfortunately something we had to think about during our trip - not something I wanted to have on my mind during vacation! Other than the mouse droppings, the cabin was meticulously clean. The hot tub was awesome - really nice to use after a day of hiking. Also nice to have the guest mode on the Roku TVs to watch shows on our own streaming services at night. The tree outside the cabin was blooming, and it was a nice, quiet area. As I mentioned, Derek was quick to respond. Check in and check out were easy.

Excellent property!

We LOVED staying in Townsend! The restaurants were phenomenal and we loved being on the more peaceful side of town. The cabin was super clean and the host was great with communication. Highly recommend!

Very Nice!

The cabin was as advertised - quiet and cozy! Very quiet area in the rolling hills and woods. A cozy look and interior made us comfortable. A relaxing atmosphere here and in the surrounding area, especially the city and people of Townsend.

Peaceful, relaxing, centering

Exactly what my wife and i needed. A wonderful clean cabin with no issues. I recommend Mountain Mist Cabins wholeheartly... except when we want to come back.. then yall stay away so one of them will be available for us.

The cabin (Take it easy) and the host were absolutely wonderful. The host is very attentive and the cabin was everything we had hoped it would be. Clean, comfortable, accommodating, bed was comfortable, kitchen had everything you would need and the hot tub was great after a long hike in the mountains. We look forward to returning. Awesome cabin retreat

The cabin was great (exactly as pictured)! Very clean. Hot tub was relaxing and the rocking chairs on the porch were perfect for coffee drinking. Our son loved the lofted area and we all loved that our black lab could come with us on vacation. The beds were comfortable, and the cabin had all the essentials we needed. Oh and the arcade game was fun- I’m not sure if my husband or son liked it more.
