Does Tours fit?

This apartment is ideally located in La Riche neighborhood and is close to not only excellent public transportation, but a direct route to Les Halles, the huge covered market which is so worth a visit. While the public transport is excellent, the walk to the train station area is very pleasant with broad tree lined sections to keep you in the shade. The neighborhood was quiet and, even though we were there during a heat wave, the apartment was never unbearably hot. I would recommend this apartment as a 'home base' to anyone coming to explore the hidden gem that is Tours.

Lovely Tours

Lovely little house but sun room leaks and I cleaned green mould from floor and door tracks. Electrical cord of lamp was sitting in a pool of water. Shower screen needed clean with a toothbrush to remove mould from tracks and shower head also mouldy. Lots of cobwebs and we had to buy a spray to kill ants. All linen was clean but threadbare. We never met hosts as messages were all automated. cheers

Excellent location - walking distance to over 100 shops & eateries, to Loire River, to friendly shopette, quiet location, modern facilities, well stocked with soaps, etc except more towels need. Friendly, polite owner - always available, safe & free parking in 3 blocks. No air conditioning, but great fans. We would gladly return.

Property is excellent. Would be great for one or two people. The kitchen was minimally equipped. But sufficient for light cooking. Terrace and back patio or nice touches. Proximity to the old center of tours is quite good. Highly recommend
