Debs and Mike provide a very comfortable home-away-from-home! My room was lovely and there were a variety of options for a good breakfast. Debs and Mike are very engaging and full of ideas/suggestions as to what to do and see in the area. Highly recommend the Acorn Lodge!

Fantastic BnB run by wonderful hosts. Breakfast was lovely and well cooked. Our room (Room 3) was spacious and very comfortable, with a nice little balcony. Really cannot think of one bad point.

A wonderful stay with a fantastic Deluxe room. The proprietors are welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you. The room was large and extremely clean. Facilities, including a balcony, were excellent! Definitely recommend and already booked a return visit.

An excellent place

We enjoyed everything about Acorn Lodge. It was freshly painted. It was comfortable, hot water freshly done breakfast well presented. Everything about it was excellent, including the owners. Would definnately recommend this place.

Great base for the English Riviera

A lovely B&B. The property is attractive and very clean, the cooked breakfast is great, and the hosts are lovely. A short walk down the hill to the seafront with its restaurants, and near pubs and shops in the other direction. We had the family room, which was fine. Perhaps more suitable for younger kids and it would be useful to have a wardrobe to put things away.

Friendly hosts. Clean and comfortable room with all the facilities you would need. Excellent cooked breakfast with a good selection of cereals and juices available. Good free onsite parking. Only a 10 min walk to the seafront. Would definitely stay again if in the area

My partner and I stayed for a long weekend. I arrived first to check in. Debs was there to greet me and dealt with a last minute request to upgrade my room amazingly. Check-in was quick with clear and easy instructions given. Room 3 was gorgeous! So spacious with plenty of storage for clothing and luggage. There was a handy fridge, table to eat at and a gorgeous balcony. I run warm so it was amazing to be able to open a door and windows. There's a huge TV with Sky channels and a sofa to watch from. The bathroom is very spacious with lovely touches from the light up mirror to the cotton buds. The shower is a large overhead waterfall style which was perfect for my mobility needs. I loved the soft fluffy towels and appreciated the heated towel rail to keep them dry. Breakfast was tasty and abundant with great options. Overall, we couldn't be happier with our stay!
