The windows are paper thin so we hardly slept with all the noise outside. They ran out of parking for guests so we had to park next door. The room was uncomfortably small for 2 beds. There was no room for both our luggages. The staff was very understanding though. Most of them were very friendly... but there was one woman who wouldn't make eye contact and looked quite annoyed when asked questions. Maybe she was just having a day so it's alright.

The bar in the main lobby is a nice feature. The elevators can be very busy in the mornings and it can be hard to get an elevator to go down.

I’m rating under staff service 2 stars just cuz the people at restaurant and the house keeping staff were nice (they can get a 5 star) but the front desk manager was very unfriendly. First of all we arrived Sunday around 3 pm to enter the parking is scary as it’s opposite directions, when we arrived they were cleaning the parking it was flooded with dirty water and stinking (I was wearing sandals) when we checked in we mentioned that and the answer of the front desk guy was “it was planned” ok I understand but we never got the memo, also this jobs are an overnight job, the guys were spraying everything with water not caring about guests, so front desk offered us free parking for the 3 nights. That day we went out and the parking was works I was not even able to get into the car my partner had to take the care out for me to be able to get in, also that night I noticed I had an infection on my right foot toe due to the parking water… next day my partner noticed his car was super dirty due to the cleaning of the parking and he had to pay for parking (when apparently was free) I went to talk about it at the front dessert and the lady who was very nice told me to keep the parking receipts and we will get the money back and gave me the manager’s number to call the following day to tell him about the car being dirty and my foot infection, so when I called he said I gave you free parking and breakfast I said no you didn’t I paid for the breakfast since the booking.. will continue

Room was nice, clean and comfortable. Staff was amazing. My son left his school tablet in the nightstand and of course didn’t realize until we got home. They were so nice when I called. Got it located, held it at the desk and then said they could send it to me to save me the 3 hour trip back to get it then 3 hours back home! Coming back in town over the summer and will for sure be staying again!

I stayed here over the weekend. As my first time in Toronto, I liked the convenience of this hotel. We were within walking distance to convenience stores and even dundas square. Now the exterior could definitely use some work or some renovating. Surprisingly the rooms were not bad. The bathroom was updated and stocked with body wash. Also the express bar near checkout was nice. Being downtown, you could hear a lot of noise from the rooms facing the street.
