Not as advertised, avoid.

Beware, you might not get the room you think you are booking. We booked next to the CN tower and found out on arrival we were half a mile away in a different area of the city. Also, we didn't get the balcony we booked. Globalstay were awful, slow to reply and just stating "that's what we booked" until provided with proof, then they said what we booked was "just an example" and they have lots of apartments. Also had to get our key from a key box down a back alley which was strange. Dodgy company, I'd steer well clear. Hotels.com didn't do much to sort the situation out, although we did end up getting £72 back as compensation, so somebody knows this isn't right...

This is a hidden gem and an outstanding property to stay at overnight for a concert or event in downtown Toronto. The property would also be a wonderful home base for a family or small group for a Toronto vacation as it’s located close to the Island Airport, Highway, shopping, entertainment, major attractions and walkable & city transportation to anywhere you wish to go! Finally, any balcony view is outstanding both day and night as you take in the beauty, sights and sounds of this amazing, cosmopolitan, world renown city with Canadian hospitality!

Property was not in the exact location as the listing showed on the map included in the ad. We had to walk a few more blocks to and from Union Station then i original planned, didnt actually mind the extra walking so not really an issue. Property ad listed a city view, I had a better view of the condo right next to us then the city. Condo was clean and had all the necessities for out short stay. There was a grocery store one block away so picking up our groceries for our stay was easy. My only real complaint was trying to find the correct lock box for the key in the mess of lock boxes attached to iron railing. There were two iron railings with multiple lock boxes attached. I searched one while my wife searched the other. After a few minutes of searching my wife finally found the correct one. A better organized system of lock boxes would eliminate peoples frustrations.

booked a property 1 month in advance because of proximity of Rodgers stadium due to limited mobility. 1 day before they sent us entrance info and it was for the wrong property asked them to fix it as we were flying in that day they would NOT give us the original property but one 6 blocks away we stayed at the new property until we were able to find new accommodations on our own. Unfortunately, my stay at GLOBALSTAY was disappointing overall. - The location was different from what was advertised, which was frustrating. - The property used a self-service check-in system and required a deposit via PayPal, which didn’t work for me. I had to pay again using an online link, and getting a refund from PayPal turned into a hassle. - I was asked to send a photo of myself in front of the property holding the credit card I used, something I found very unusual and concerning from a privacy and security standpoint. - There was no blanket provided for my child, and despite repeated contact with the owner, no help was offered. They insisted it should be there, but no one came to check or resolve the issue. Given the misleading location and poor customer support, I would not recommend staying here.

Great location and views but disappointed that AC did not work at all. Looks like the property is not managed well. There were issues and lot of wait time with elevation. Also, we were only offered 1 key and for the unit making it very inconvenient for 2 families

This was not what we booked, when we get there turns out are place was across the city not where we wanted to be, tv didn’t work, room smelled like cigarette smoke. Just not a good overall experience

The apartment was nice but the check in process was a nightmare. Make sure to read the WhatsApp instructions carefully and be aware that you may end up staying in a different building than the one listed here!

Worst experience of my life

Worst experience of my life. They moved us to another property when I got there which was a complete inconvenience. I had to contact the property management and they did not sound sympathetic. They did nothing to accommodate me. Offer me anything. I had to walk 15 mins to another property and already paid for parking. I would never use global sta** again and will recommend everyone I know not to stay there on Instagram, Facebook and word of mouth. Terrible company
