The rooms are renovated but quite dark overall. They had body wash, shampoo and conditioner as well as a great walk in shower There was a safe which was great. The parking lot was and front entrance was a mess of cones construction and no signs for direction (the parking charge should be less than $30 with all of the construction going on) There were great restaurants in walking distance Staff were helpful and welcoming A large group of kids were at the hotel for some went but as I was in a king room area I slept well

Well it looked great as far as I could see checked in very late around 11pm or so due to just landing at the Toronto airport. Also had to check out on Sunday at 6:00am to return to airport for flight back home Cleveland Ohio after one week on a cruise.

I recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza near Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ) and was extremely disappointed. This property does not reflect the quality or experience typically associated with the Crowne Plaza brand. The hotel is outdated, and the parking situation is both insecure and overpriced — $30 for an open, unsecured lot with a broken or ineffective gate. Unfortunately, the noise level was unbearable. The windows offered almost no soundproofing. All night, I could hear cars, shuttles, guests smoking and chatting near the entrance as if they were inside the room. Even footsteps and conversations from the hallway felt as though they were happening inside the room itself. To make matters worse, the hotel didn’t offer basic amenities that are standard at most Crowne Plaza locations — no complimentary water, and even slippers were not available, even upon request. After a long day of travel, this lack of hospitality was disappointing. Overall, my stay was frustrating and unrestful. If you are looking for a place to sleep, relax, or get work done, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. This hotel does not meet the expectations one would have of the Crowne Plaza name.

The hallway carpet need to be replaced or cleaned properly. As we entered the hallway from the elevator, we were greeted with a unpleasant smell that seems like from the carpet and looks dirty as well. The washroom in our room was so tiny and feel like snug. Fridge not cooling. Breakfast the same for our 3 day stay.
