We made several attempts to call the hotel to let them know we were traveling with a dog. The phone rolled to a voicemail box that was full. Tried for DAYS! Concerned about traveling to a hotel we couldn’t reach, I called to book a room at the Mitzpah hotel. It was then I learned the Belvada is not staffed during the winter. Not sure what you’d do with an on-site emergency. Room was okay-bedding was quite musty. Mitzpah had great food and the bar was dog friendly.

Fabulous stay in the middle of nowhere! The hotel has some great history. The room was nicely appointed. Bed very comfortable. Good place to stop between Las Vegas and Reno.

I was a little put off that me and my daughter had to cross the hwy to the Mizpah hotel to check in. It was dark and there was no signal for the cross walk. The attendant at the desk acted very annoyed and was not friendly.

Right when you walk in this place you are TRANSPORTED! It’s beautiful. So much thoughtful detail put into everything I spent well over an hour just walking around admiring all the art and historical preservation. The front desk staff is wonderful and I really appreciated the First Americans art exhibit. We were able to walk to dinner at Tonopah Brewing ! Will be back!

The room was spotless, the lobby was spectacular. Employees were kind and friendly. The worst pillows in the world. Room was very spacious and the bathroom was retrofitted with antique floors. Nice place, if the had better pillows. Also, only 1 ice machine in the basement is creepy.

The lobby is wonderful! It would have been nice to have had some tissues in the room. Thank you for having a microwave and fridge in the room. We had a look in the Mizpah as well and liked the much quieter Belvada much better.
