I had 2 major problems during my stay. First, my toilet was not functioning during first and second night there, it would not flush properly thus I need to move rooms. Secondly, they require you to change rooms for what's seems to be every 7 days, I have no idea why this needs to happen. So now, the most inconvenient part starts, as you must move your all your belongings down to the front desk by 10am, and the new room is not ready until 3pm, so I had to improvise a plan how to deal with my 2 pieces of luggage and my stuffed backpack. Not incredibly difficult but inconvenient for me. My stay totaled 14 days but I had to change rooms 3 different times. Even though the rooms are clean and have a decent amount of space for being a cheap chain hotel, it did inconvenience me quite a bit. I have been to Japan quite a bit and this is my first time have an issues at all. Regardless of the room situation, everything else is fine, the included breakfast is just a riceball and a few other things which is fine, nothing to cheer for. The best part about this place is the access to many local locations like Oji Shrine, great restaurants, and the train station. So there is stuff to look around that isn't stuffed with tourists. If you going during cherry blossoms season, there is a local park that has an amazing view of many cherry blossom trees, very little tourist in this area. This is easily the hotel's best feature. It's hard to recommend, I would personally not be coming back.

I loved how this hotel was so close to Oji station (a JR station, so it was very handy with a JR pass or JR regional pass) There was plenty of eating places and convenient stores close by. The bed was extra firm, it felt like a massage to my body and I liked it but I can imagine some people would not enjoy it at all. I would not hesitate to stay here again next time I visit Tokyo.

Close to Oji station, and rooms are clean and efficient. However, staff would not let us store our bags for 2 days even though we had booked another stay (after leaving Tokyo to climb Mt. Fuji). Language barriers made it confusing to understand why, but it seemed like they can only hold luggage for one day? So we canceled the second booking and stayed somewhere closer to our return point. Beware if you plan on trying to store luggage with this hotel.

The property was just lovely, and the staff very friendly. We lucked out and got the accessibility unit on the main floor, which is a little noisy, but so much more spacious so worth it. Breakfast was delicious, and you can bring it up to your room. Hotel close to trains, so easy to get to any attractions.

Great place. Very clean. Good for families, good breakfast, good coin laundry on site. Staff was gracious and kind even though we could not speak Japanese. Instructions for changing rooms was very clear. A 5 minute walk from train and metro station. Great location. Vending machines in lobby. We would definitely stay here again.

Welcoming and comfortable

The staff is welcoming and friendly. However, they didn't speak much English and my Japanese was a little rusty so it was a bit of awkward check-in process~ The check-in process consisted of confirming my reservation, informing me about cleaning times, and letting me know what time the complimentary breakfast starts. Check out is just turning in the room key. My room consisted of a double bed, a large desk, tv, and bathroom/bidet combo. My bed was right next to a huge window that I was a bit nervous of...but in the end it's the thing I miss the most (great view). One thing to note, is that Japan is very big on saving space, so there are hangers but no closets or drawers, and any luggage will go beside the bed or under it. Oh! If you can't read Japanese, you might need to Google the instructions on the ac/heater remote~ Well, I probably missed a lot of info, but I definitely recommend this hotel and I will rebook it in the future. Out of the three hotels I stayed at during my trip, this was the most comfortable for me.
