Description of the house

On the ground floor there is a large and well equipped kitchen, living / dining room for your whole group to relax and enjoy, and a small office with a single bed. There is also a bathroom, washing machine, and restroom for easy access on the ground floor.

Ben was a helpful and communicative host. There are three bedrooms with an additional tatami room that could (possibly) accommodate more. It comfortably slept our party of 5. The kitchen was large and functional with a spacious dining/family room. The property had two toilets and two shower rooms which made it easy for a large group to get up and going in the morning. Ikebukuro was an awesome area. There are multiple konbini around the corner from the house along with a more stocked grocery store. Ikebukuro station is a short walk away with easy access to multiple train line lines. The area around the station was brimming with tons of great restaurants and shops. The house is perfectly situated in a quiet residential area, but gives you access to a more urbane city center for food and shopping.

Live like a local

The house had plenty of space for our family of 4. This helped us get over the jetlag without disturbing the other family members. The convenience stores were close by and we got to try 7/11, Lawson and Family Mart. One drawback of the house was that there wasn't enough comfortable seating in the living room. When we got back from walking for hours we wanted to all sit comfortably and cool off. Speaking of which the air conditioning worked wonderfully.
