The property was great , just the staff in the breakfast buffet were not refilling food efficiently. It’s a small breakfast area so it’s not hard to refill the food efficiently, considering it’s a small crowd of guest eating. At closing time of buffet , I noticed staff were putting away a lot of leftover foods. It’s just a different experience in other hotel that we stayed in where the serving plates were always refilled efficiently.

Clean and great hotel accommodations for the price. The walk to the train station was a little far for my liking. The pillows were tiny and the bed was uncomfortable but if you don’t mind comfortability, then it would be excellent for your budget trip.

Great hotel, excellent location

The hotel is not far from the station. So it is any easy walk with the roller suitcase. It is in part of a regular office building. Buy the breakfast in asvance. It is a small, but nice buffet. We had three people, which is ffrequently a challenge in hotels. The room was nice and pleasant. The staff were very accomodating. All in all, a great experience.

Well-situated hotel; value for your money.

Well located hotel near Tamachi and Mita stations and Haneda airport. Can easily go around Tokyo and even to Yokohama if you wish. Free daily happy hour 5-7 pm (decent offerings of wine, flavoured liquers and sake) and a free drink at the Costa machine. Free drinkable water from the tap. Very clean but tiny rooms (which can't be helped for the location and price). Staff (concierge and housekeeping) are all very friendly and helpful. Will stay here again; good value for money.

This hotel is a great option for someone who is looking for a conveniently close location to the Haneda Airport since it’s just 20 minutes away. I would recommend this hotel for business travelers, solo travelers or a couple on a short stay in Tokyo. The room size was rather small and the hotel itself is inside of a large commercial building. The staff was very friendly and provided a free welcome drink voucher upon arrival. They also offered a free happy hour in the lobby from 5pm-7pm, which was a nice touch. The Tamachi area is more of a business area with lots of offices and skyscraper buildings, so there wasn’t a ton of shops and restaurants nearby. However, this location is very close to the Tokyo Tower and about a 5 to 7 minute walk to the Yamanote & JR train line that is just 1-2 stops away from Shibuya and Shinjuku stations.

The hotel is like a 6-8 min walk from the closest train station, the rooms were not that big but it is what it is for its price. There were only 2 main issues I had: 1. On the first night there I asked for 2 more bottles of water as I had already finished the 2 that came with the room, they were nice and immediately delivered 2 bottles to my room. On the second night, when I asked for water again, the staff I called said I need to buy it from the vendor machine. When I told him that it is my second night here so is it not reasonable to get 2 more bottles? He then changed his mind and said fine but I can only have 1 bottle and I have to come down to get it. 2. the bathrooms aren't super clean. There are stains behind the toilet seat and still a couple of hair lying around the floor when I got to the room.

It's a good hotel, but more business professionals with meetings on the area. Breakfast was limited and I would not recommend this for a tourist/leisure trip. There are better options for that in Tokyo at similar prices. If I was on a business trip and have meetings nearby, I would qualify this as conveniently located and fit for purpose.

Convenient for airport stay, lovely hotel

Lovely hotel, we arrived in the rain without umbrellas and were offered towels to dry off! Free drinks and snacks provided in the evening and nice area to sit in the lobby for this. Great view from 17th floor and amazing open area in the centre of the building. Room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Close to airport and trains so good for night before or after a flight.

We recently stayed at the Fontaine Grand Tokyo, and while my overall experience had some positive highlights, there were a few issues that left me disappointed. To start, the location is about a 12–15 minute walk from the nearest station, which is something to keep in mind if you’re carrying heavy luggage or prefer a closer option. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, and the rooms were spotless. The cleaning team does an excellent job maintaining the space, and I was very impressed with their attention to detail. Unfortunately, my experience wasn’t perfect. First, I tripped in front of the hotel because of some short grey pillars that were hard to notice. I ended up with a big bruise. When I informed the front desk, they simply apologized, which felt inadequate for a safety concern like this. Secondly, the laundry facilities were very disappointing. The hotel only has three washers and dryers, which seems insufficient for a hotel of this size. On top of that, the machine we used damaged some of our clothes. When we approached the front desk for assistance, we were told that nothing could be done because the laundry service is outsourced. For a luxury hotel, this level of service was frustrating and not what I expected. Overall, while the stay was comfortable and the cleaning team was fantastic, these issues—especially the safety hazard and poor handling of the laundry situation—tainted what could have been a much better experience.
