My partner and I and our 3 kids stayed at Minn Asakusa for 6 nights. Remote check in, there was no one at reception the whole time. We communicated with the host via Expedia. We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of space in our apartment. We had 4 twin beds and 1 child slept in on a futon. The dining table and chairs in our room was convenient as sometimes we enjoyed some takeaway in our apartment. Lots of eating options close by. Sensoji Temple, 7 Eleven and OK supermarket nearby. This area isn't as busy as Downtown Tokyo which suited us. But it was close enough for us to catch the trains to most areas. The apartment is about 300m from Asakusa station and about 30 mins ride to Shibuya and Shinjuku. There is a washer and a drying room which was great. Twin basins in the bathroom and separate toilet. Only negatives were:
1. The sensor light in hallway and bathroom were very sensitive and kept turning on at the slightest movement.
2. There was no code required to get into the lobby which raised security concerns. But we did not have any bad experiences.
On our last day, we rented bikes and rode along the river and to the Toyko Skytree which was lovely. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. Clean, spacious, conveniently located. Would highly recommend.
