Beautiful location

This is a wonderful, private location. We loved the decks, hot tub and watching the wildlife. Tofino Vacation Rentals does a great job managing this property. It was very clean, had very comfy beds and nice linens. Some people have noted that the building can use a little maintenance. While this is true, it is clear they are replacing windows and doors and I'm sure it is difficult to keep up with everything on a wooden building. This in no way affected our enjoyment of the property and we would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone. Thank you TVR!

Christmas Booking

We loved the house and the facilities. They were all at a very high standard. The host was very helpful by checking in to see if we had arrived and also the following day to see if we needed anything. They were always on hand to communicate with us and because of the time of year provided us with times where they were not available and left us with an emergency contact number. There was an impending storm and they sent us information on how to prepare ourselves for it. There were also emergency supplies provided just in case the power went out. It was our second stay at this beautiful property and would recommend it to anyone who is considering making a booking. Go for it, you will not be disappointed!

60th Birthday Trip

A lovely property with an outstanding view of the ocean. Close to town and a beach. The property managers were extremely prompt with responding to our request for additional firewood and they responded quickly to any questions. Very comfortable beds with a beautiful view of starry skies in the upstairs bedrooms. Would love to visit again.

Amazing place!

This house is amazing and we loved our stay. The view is incredible and it is within walking distance to everything. The kitchen was also well stocked and the hot tub was very nice. We hope to come back and stay for longer.

Totally Awesome!!

We recently rented Pacific Retreat for the long weekend in May to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary with our two daughters and their husbands. All of us were blown away with not only the view but also how spacious the house is! The bedroom pictures don’t do them justice as so much room and storage space available. All bathrooms have full counters with the sinks as well. Every conceivable kitchen tool (and BBQ) ready should one wish to cook! All new appliances etc etc etc. Our host contact (Jacqui) couldn’t do enough for us and responded quickly to all queries. The only thing we needed was extra coffee for the second/third days plus creamer (our preference). Can recommend this facility without hesitation. We certainly have a new favorite destination for future visits to Tofino!

We were showing off BC to our European friends and they were very impressed with this place, especially because of the view and the display that the orcas put on one night. The only negative is that there is no music. Lots of German CDs but nothing else. Perhaps music channels on the cable might be a nice addition?

Exceeded expectations

This was an excellent place to stay in Tofino. The house is very open and airy. You can't beat the location it as it is in walking distance to the town, yet the house itself is private and has these large windows looking out onto the water that hold your attention. Kitchen is large and very well equipped. It has an expansive deck with a hot tub. During our stay there was a rare Tofino snow storm. The power went out and the roads took time to clear. We were contacted by our host and they extended our check out time to allow for safe departure and were willing to support us staying another night if it wasn't safe to leave. Would definitely recommend!

Mom’s 80th Birthday

It was perfect. Beautifully situated for storm watching and eagle gazing. Lovely walk into town. And close to beach park. Exceptionally well equipped kitchen. We made shortbread and prime rib dinner with Yorkshire pudding. We’ll be back for sure. Bit tough to find in the dark. Just need to get there earlier to enjoy longer. Wish check out was a tad later
