Perfect Weekend Away

We loved our weekend away. The location was perfect - short drive to Boone and super close to our favorite summer activity river tubing.

Delightful stay

What a great stay we had in Todd! Home was delightful and very accomodating, very user friendly. We did not get to use the kayaks due to the weather, but was great that they were there, if needed!

Great place

We had a great stay at this cozy little cabin. Located in a great area. Close to New River and Boone and West Jefferson. Very secluded without being too secluded. Plenty of room and great view! Love the porch in the mornings.

Fantastic house!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is warm, inviting, clean and well stocked. The rear deck has a private beautiful view and is a great place to relax, eat and play games. Loved the wood burning fp and tub in the master bedroom. We will absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful and Perfect

This was the perfect place to stay. Close to everything yet not on top of other people. Cottage had everything you would need. Everything about this cottage was perfect.

Mountain Hideway

Lady Elaine's cottage is an ideal location for your High Country getaway. We enjoyed App State football, exploring Todd, the Old Barn Winery and a round of golf at Mountainaire. The cottage is cozy, comfortable setting for gathering with family.

Clean and Cozy

Super clean and pics are an honest representation of the house and property. The wood interior and decor gave a cozy cabin feel. Hope to make it back late spring to use the kayaks! Beautiful area to visit! Definitely 5 stars.

We Will Be Back

Beautiful place off the beaten path. Remote but close to everything that you go to the mountains to do. Very clean and comfortable. Would recommend for sure!

Great summer vacation in the mountains!!

We really enjoyed staying in Lady Elaine cottage. It was a very comfortable stay and perfect spot for our family to get together. We enjoyed many things in the area. Tubing on the New River and putting our toes in the water at Todd Island. Also convenient to many breweries. We also loved the shops in West Jefferson. We can’t wait to come and we would stay again.

Our adult family really enjoyed this cabin. It was spacious and cozy at the same time. The kitchen had everything we needed. There were lots of games that we enjoyed. It was clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again. The only suggestion I have is to note in the description that the fireplace is wood burning, so we could have brought firewood if desired. In our case, the weather was actually too warm for a fire! In December!

Great House

House is beautiful, has all you should need for your stay away from home. We had a great time while staying there. There are neighbors close enough to hear/see if you are both outside. The full/trundle beds are more for kids.

Cozy cabin in a great location

Lovely cabin with many nearby attractions. The cabin was spacious, comfortable, cozy and clean. Beautiful views from the large front porch. Plenty of games and books for the family. The ping pong table was a big hit for my family. We had a very short trip but found the cabin to be perfect for our visit. Instructions were clear and communication with the owners was very good.

Relax and enjoy

We loved everything about this cottage! So clean comfortable and relaxing! Everything provided you might need. Loved the ping pong table! All furniture linens and decor very nice! Lots of games to play! Great communication with owners. The fall color was beautiful in the area. We love Boone and Jefferson. So glad we were able to stay at Lady Elaine Cottage while in the area.

We feel at home, the cabin is super beautiful and cozy. everything was very clean, organized and labeled. We decided to get together with the family for Christmas and we had a great time. The cabin has everything you need to be very comfortable. Everything they offer in the description is available. The owners are always attentive and helpful. Amazing 5-star experience

This house and host exceeded our expectations. The owner Matt was awesome with communicating prior to our stay, during our stay and follow up after. My family and I have been going to the mountains for Thanksgiving for the last 5 years and this is hands down the best place we stayed! This house is super clean, equip with everything you need and more. We can't wait to come back again!!! Thank you Matt & Margaret for sharing your home with us :)
