We arrived to check in at around 7:30 p.m. , and everything was smooth and easy. The property looks exactly as shown in the photos. The lake view was absolutely gorgeous. And the rooms were cozy and clean. But the kitchen had a somewhat funky smell, and we should have brought our own knives. Over all though, we had a very relaxing stay. I would book the property again.

Beautiful home, very alert and communicative hosts! The only issue was the check in process, give yourself time for the car passes, but overall can’t wait to see this home during the fall!

Comfortable, clean, quiet, and conveniently right on the water.Everyone slept well, living area was spacious, and I enjoyed the lay out of the kitchen.The scenic morning walks were beautiful, the young men kayaked, grilled, and making a fire.

Great pocono chalet for a relaxing stay.Property was exactly as described, communication was amazing, check in process a breeze. We stayed post labor day so cant speak to the community ammenities. We chose the the property for the location and view and it was beautiful.

Beautiful Lakehouse with a beautiful lake view

We had an awesome time at this house. Lake view was priceless, amenities were provided (such as kayaks, life jackets, fire pit, grill, etc.), commmunication with owner/rep was seamless, house was spotless and updated, lots to do in the area. Would love to stay again and would recommend others to do so.

My husband and I brought our two dogs for the week. We had the most wonderful stay. We found a dog park just up the road, which made the stay with our dogs so easy. The house was centrally located to all the activities we chose to do during our week. We slept well, we were so comfortable and at home. The lake views were spectacular. We had baby deer sleeping under the side window. Mallard ducks visited our dock often. We relaxed and enjoyed this country vacation. We would absolutely come again soon.

Great lakeside house. We spent all our time on the dock or in the water. Kayaks for use were clutch. Very short walk to the community pool/beach/playground/tennis courts/food. We brought our own lounge chairs for the yard. Fire pit was great - s’mores every night. Bring your own firewood.

Gorgeous lakefront view

Wow… what a gorgeous property! The house was perfect…a great size for a small family with or without pets. We thoroughly enjoyed the interior and especially the amazing lakefront view with lake access. The lake view is unobstructed by trees or brush. The owner did a great job of having a gorgeous yard with a fire pit and perfect lake views. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect vacation week.

Relaxing Lake Stay

Great house with everything needed to relax by the lake. The view is great! The listing and pictures are accurate. Owner made the checking in/check out process very easy. I knew exactly what to expect upon arrival. Can’t wait to go back.

The house was very nice, great views of the lake. The outside area was also nice. The neighborhood was somewhat unkempt and not as nice as we expected. Many properties were not well maintained.The check in process at the Welcome Center was not welcoming at all. The staff was very indifferent and not friendly.The host was very quick in responding to a few issues we encountered and followed up to make sure the issues were resolved.

Much Needed Vacation

This was our first experience with VRBO. It has been 11 years since our last stay in the Poconos, and we have stayed in this community in the past. The experience was seamless, and the property was exactly as advertised. Everything was in great shape and made the stay very pleasant. The house was wonderful and appointed well for a vacation. The community is quiet, and amenities are great. The host was always available, and communication was great. Needless to say, the lake was spectacular. Can't imagine staying anywhere else next vacation. Highly recommend.

Overall nice property but missing some essential items. No hooks/places to hang towels. No hooks/place to hang coats in hallway. Limited hangers in closets. Minimal kitcen items. Could use afew more ice trays; only had one. Microwave door was broken. No extra trash bags. No foil or plastic wrap. Front door lock is very loose and instructions for entry were incorrect. The one blind on the deck windows doesn't work. Very stark and minimal amenities compared to other VRBO rentals.

Could not have made a better selection!

This site was amazing! We were so pleased with the privacy, having a bit of space to the left of the home and a couple large lots to the right. We had direct access to the water, just as described. We enjoyed breakfast on the deck, cool mornings in the back yard underneath and encountered several deer; the most enjoyable a doe and her two fawns frolicked past the porch where we sat! The sunsets were splendid. The hosts were available for any question we had, which were a few since we were first timers. We had taken supplies but needed for nothing, everything you need is supplied. Thank you SO much for this beautiful place!

Poor Check-In Process Overshadowed an Otherwise Average Stay

The check-in process was extremely frustrating and set a bad tone for our trip. The property is inside a gated community where all vehicles must be registered at the gatehouse. This process was incredibly disorganized and took us over 90 minutes to complete. Despite communicating with the host during the ordeal, the situation dragged on due to mix-ups and poor coordination between the host and gate staff. Sitting in the car for that long with two kids and a dog was miserable, and not the way you want to start a vacation.The neighborhood itself felt somewhat run-down and a little unsafe. Because of that, I didn’t feel comfortable having my son sleep in the first-floor bedroom, so he used the master bedroom upstairs while we stayed downstairs.The house was generally clean but had visible wear and tear - things like a broken microwave handle, a hole in a closet door, and scuffed walls. The sheets provided were very low-quality microfiber, which felt hot and uncomfortable, so I’d recommend bringing your own bedding.Overall, the stay was okay, but between the stressful check-in, the condition of the neighborhood, and the minor maintenance issues in the house, I would not stay here again.
