"Al Vicolo di San Getulio," along the walls of the Villa d'Este gardens.
Cozy apartment, recently renovated in a modern and functional style, located along the walls of the gardens of the wonders of Villa d'Este in Tivoli, an Italian Renaissance masterpiece and UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The city of Tivoli, the ideal support base towards Rome, to which it is connected by an almost continuous service of buses and metropolitan trains, boasts a millennial origin and history much more archaic than that of Rome, still visible today. The image of Tivoli is inextricably linked to the Terme di Albule waters and the three magnificent villas that decorate it, the spectacular Villa d'Este and the archeological Villa Adriana, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and the landscaped Villa Gregoriana, managed from FAI.
Our apartment, in the historic city center, as well as being the ideal base for visiting the adjacent Villa d'Este, allows you to easily reach, with short walks, all the sites of historical and artistic relevance in Tivoli, the main shops and the most typical restaurants.
THE ACCOMMODATION, located on the first floor, has a very large and bright double bedroom, a nice living room with sofa bed, also double, a kitchen equipped with every comfort and utensils (refrigerator, freezer, oven, toaster and washing machine) and a bathroom complete with all services - The house has wi-fi service. The TV is present in the bedroom and in the living room. Bed linen and towels available. The house does not have spaces to accommodate animals. Smoking is not allowed.
The Lazio Region has assigned the apartment the identification code No. 4027.

AT THE TIME OF CHECK-IN it will be necessary to provide, by each guest, a copy of their valid identity document; in addition, the amount of the city tax of € 2.00 per person per night for a maximum of 6 nights will be due - children under 10 years do not pay.
A JOURNEY THROUGH HISTORY - Our accommodation allows, with a short walk, to start a journey through the history of over 2000 years, starting from the rocky spur of the Acropolis, with the temples of Sibilla and Vesta that allow a breathtaking view of the " ravine "created by the Aniene waterfall, inside the FAI natural park of villa Gregoriana. Not far away, the religious and commercial archaeological site of the Temple of Hercules (II century BC) can finally be visited, which, for centuries, has constituted an obligatory passage for the transhumance from the Abruzzo hills towards the Roman countryside. Finally, following a comfortable path among the olive trees, you reach Villa Adriana, the most representative site, left in Tivoli by the Romans, famous all over the world and also included in the UNESCO world heritage. It seems a lot already but there is still a lot to see; just get lost in the streets of the historic center and go through the medieval quarter of Piazza Campitelli, then the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, built on the site of the ancient Roman Forum, then the fortress of the Rocca Pia from whose towers you can appreciate a 360 ° panorama . To enjoy these and many other riches of the city, such as the thermal center of the Acque Albule and the many places where you can taste some typical dishes of the Tiburtine cuisine, we are available for all the most useful suggestions.
Finally, for nature lovers, we suggest the dense network of trails for TREKKING, which can be reached just outside Tivoli, within the natural reserve of Monte Catillo, the regional park of the Monti Lucretili and just a short distance away, Mount Gennaro, the Prenestini mountains and the Simbruini Mountains Park; it would be a pleasure to be able to share the passion for hiking with our guests.
We are waiting for you, Giuseppe and Loredana
The apartment is heated and features a kitchen and space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Guests can enjoy a TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a sofa bed, and a coffee maker.

Nice hosts, great location, well decorated
Worked out great host was very nice and had some great tips that helped us out when visiting the gardens - we were able to visit Tivoli at night when it was not 102F /40C. Great that each bedroom had a desk fan which were life savers. But it is true, I read in a previous review— for whatever reason there is no middle ground when taking a shower you either get all hot or all cold I’ve never come across a shower with such an amazing temperament. But hey it is a city known for its astonishing waterworks!

Posizione eccellente
