The host was on top of it messaging about how to use sertain things around the house. House is at a great spot. Great views. Clean. Kids enjoyed the play room. Over all had a great experience and enjoyed the family time.

This is a beautiful house in an ideal location for large groups looking to visit Sequoia. The hosts provide extremely responsive and clear communication, and there are plenty of thoughtful enhancements to the property that make for a great stay. A well-stocked kitchen, good updates throughout the house, an incredibly quiet/private location, beautiful wildlife wandering through the property, and FANTASTIC views. And the old log flume was very cool! (to the dads, anyway, lol)

A great home for our national parks vacation. Comfortably housed 4 adults and 4 children. Well stocked throughout. Hosts were very responsive to any messages sent. A few items to note:- Access road into the house via Google Maps was incorrect and took us up a dirt road. Property entrance is marked by the mailbox.- Lower level suite mattress was uncomfortable for our family - mattress indented to the center.- We thought we'd spend much more time in the game room on our down day, but it was a little underwhelming.Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay close to Sequoia National Park!

Amazing Place near River

This was one of the most relaxing vacations in a while. We loved hanging out in the hot tub and listening to the sound of the river. The home is only 5 mins to sequoia national park which is very convenient! I would stay again.

Glamourous and comfortable to explore Sequoia and Kings Canyon

Cannot say enough about this property and property manager. We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home! The views were absolutely stunning, and we loved waking up to the sounds of birds and spotting wildlife right from the deck. The house itself is updated, modern, and thoughtfully equipped with every amenity you could possibly need—truly not a single detail was overlooked.Our family especially enjoyed the game room—foosball and ping pong were such a fun way to connect and unwind together. The air fryer was a great bonus in the kitchen and made mealtime even easier. This was easily one of the best vacation rentals we've stayed in, and we can't wait to come back!

Spring Break

We had a great stay for 5 nights. We brought our 4 kids with age span 1 to 9. There was plenty of space for all of us. The kids loved exploring outside, hiking to the log flume, and riding their scooters on the huge driveway. Oh, and don’t forget the arcade in the garage.We cooked most of our meals and they had everything we needed stocked in the kitchen and for the bbq.The views are just insane. The sounds of the river are all around. The hot tub was also a nice place to unwind after our trips to sequoia and kings canyon national parks as well as lake kaweah.We loved staying here and hope to again some day! I highly recommend!

Clean & pretty but watch out!

The property was as described. Everything was satisfactory with the property. The only issue with the property itself was that the spa took 24 hours to finally warm up enough to use it. I was more so disappointed actually upon checking out. Days after leaving, I was hit with a property damage claim stating a rug was damaged in the master bedroom. The only thing that was brought into that room was bottled water we kept on the nightstands. I cannot possibly see how a rug was stained. They’re asking for a whopping 800 to replace the rug! Also, they were stating damage was caused to the spa & spa cover. We were in the spa for a total of 15 minutes as stated in their rules. I was in there with my 2 small children- we didn’t cause ANY damage! Yet, were blamed for 3 separate incidents of damage. I have NEVER been accused of property damage in the past & am honestly insulted to be accused of such. Those interested in staying here may want to take pictures as soon as you arrive in order to protect yourself in the event the property owner decides to file a claim against you. Definitely won’t be coming back & will be taking pictures of EVERYTHING going forward.

We had a great get away

We come to Three Rivers alot and have probably stayed at almost every single vacation rental and this place rates at the top of my list. We relaxed, re grouped and caught up on some much needed sleep. Our four kids had plenty to do to keep busy. We hated to leave but we will visit again soon. Thanks

Lovely!

Really nice to find A place with a spectacular view, beautifully stocked and lovely comfortable features and close to Sequoia and Kings Canyon. A bit of a drive to Yosemite. Since we flew in from the east coast, we really appreciated all the attention to detail. Driveway to property was a bit steep so be aware if arriving after dark. We loved and appreciated it!!

Lovely home just a few minutes down the road from Sequoia NP

Saadia is a wonderful host. Her home is spacious, clean, well stocked and offers really nice views. The pictures and descriptions are very accurate and she does an amazing job at communications. We are from the Boston area and were travelling from Yosemite to visit King's Canyon & Sequoia NP. We had no real knowledge of the area but Saadia's directions were perfect and we found her home without issue. After a very long drive, we especially liked the hot tub waiting for us already pre heated for a long soaking!!! Finally, for those of you familiar with staying near our country's national parks, you may know that some locations can be pretty rural. Saadia's home and the Three Rivers area proved to be a convenient spot to stay. Just a few minutes to the park, close to a small grocery store and gas stations and convenient to a few restaurants. If we are back that way again, I would definitely stay at Saadia's home again!

Relaxing & Beautiful Location

Stayed 3 nights to celebrate our daughters birthday and it was very relaxing. We are a family of 4 (kids 6 & 13). There was plenty of entertainment within the home between the game room and just enjoying the property itself. Having to keep the kids entertained was not an issue and allowed my husband and I to rest and relax. The kitchen had everything one could need to cook meals. The location is conveniently close to the Sequoia's as well. Overall the home is perfect for families, very well maintained, and clean. Just an fyi for future families, the 3rd bedroom is a nice beautiful little studio outside the house. Its attached to the home but one has to go outside and take stairs that lead to the lower level to get to this particular room. Not a negative for us at all. But worth mentioning for other families to be aware of. Could be great for bigger families. We loved our stay and appreciate the prompt response when we got lost on the way to find the home. Thank you for the great service all around!

Great Getaway House!

This house was really wonderful for our stay with our friends and children while visiting Sequoia. The game room was the biggest bonus to keep the kids occupied when we were home and give the adults some extra quiet space. The house was also very spacious and we had everything that we needed. We found the location to be great and the views and sound of the river is very peaceful. We would absolutely be happy to stay here again next time we visit the area.

Great location and accommodation

The property is located very near the Sequoia National Park and is secluded and private. The owner was very prompt in replying to questions. The only negatives were the air conditioning had trouble cooling during the heat of the day and there were a lot of ants in the kitchen. I think it is also important to note that the third bedroom is on a lower level with no direct access to the house without going outside

Superb Sequoia getaway

Shepherd's Heights was a very well outfitted, beautifully decorated home with excellent views of the river. Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. The game garage (so many different types of games!) and large TV in the living room were much appreciated along with the tastefully appointed and comfortable furniture. Beds were incredibly comfortable (a huge plus!) There is absolutely no cell service at the house but wifi worked well. Also, it was quite confusing for us at first as we had no idea where the 3rd bedroom was... it is indeed a private entrance and at the lower level of the home accessed separately (I was a bit nervous at first but one lucky kid of ours really enjoyed it). All-in-all, a really great rental in very close proximity to Sequoia National Park (though, unfortunately, not during our stay as the entrance was closed due to the winter wash outs... but a 150+ mile one day trip later, we did get to see General Sherman!!!) Oh, and the wild life. Multiple sightings of deer on the property really amused the kids. Only a bear sighting could have made it better!

Beautiful views!!

This property is exceptional!! There was plenty of space to spread out in the house and plenty of space to gather together. My kids LOVED the game room and were there playing first thing each morning and late each night! The house was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and the furniture, beds and linens were comfy and appeared to be new. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed making breakfasts and dinners there. We were in the area to visit Sequoia National Park and it did not disappoint! Please be aware that severe bad weather over the winter/spring has caused some areas of the park and roads to close…but we pressed on and took the long away around and still got to see all of the parks highlights. Only wish we had more time to enjoy the gorgeous property!!
