Beautiful renovated stately home, one of the original founder's homes of Three Oaks! Just around the corner from the Journeyman Distillery and all downtown Three Oaks has to offer! (5 minute walk to the heart of downtown Three Oaks)

Attic has been finished to add an additional 600 sq feet, featuring a bedroom, dressing room, living room with gas fireplace, ensuite bath with walk-in shower with rain shower head, large vanity. Attic is accessible through the upstairs bathroom, which has a private toilet closet.

All bedrooms upstairs. Home offers beautiful designer furnishings, 3 comfortable king sized bedrooms and 1 queen, 3 large full bathrooms, (one upstairs with a marble shower, one downstairs with a tub/shower, attic ensuite with a rain shower), an attic living room with gas fireplace, a formal living room for cocktails and a spacious TV living room for cozy hangouts by the wood burning fireplace. Additional guests may sleep on the daybed in this room.

Marble updated kitchen features new appliances, a large washer and dryer, and granite countertops for easy cooking and entertaining.

The large private yard, with backyard fully fenced in, features a large deck with outdoor sofa and chair, dining table and lush garden with firepit area and a gas grill await your stay.

Beautiful, well-appointed home. It is much larger than the photos represent! Plenty of room to have personal space while accommodating several people. Very comfy beds! We loved the cozy family room and playing board games. Downtown Three Oaks was a quick walk, with cute coffee shops and antiques etc. Easy access to the South Shore to get to the city, yet secluded enough to feel like a peaceful escape at the end of a long day. 10/10 would rent again, my entire family commented on how much they loved the home.

Great spot for full family fun

We had a great stay with our family of ranging in age from 2-72! It was very walkable to all of the great restaurants and shopping in Three Oaks, as well as quick car rides to new buffalo, sawyer, and the Warren dunes. The house was clean and updated and had all of the necessities. Carla was very communicative and made everything very easy.

Absolutely a perfect place to vacation. The house was amazing! Fully stocked with everything you would ever need. Lots of room to accommodate everyone. The location was great. Only a couple of blocks from Three Oaks and a short drive to the beach. We will definitely come back!

A beautiful home! Gorgeous, tasteful modern farmhouse with enough room to sleep 4 couple comfortably, with 3 large bathrooms. Parents’ suite on top level is a DREAM, and so nicely separated from 2nd fl bedrooms and a sanctuary from 1st fl entertaining. Well-appointed kitchen with all the pots, pans, utensils, bowls, glasses, mugs, cookie sheets, etc etc etc you could need. Brand new grill. Multiple types of coffee makers. Dining room is huge—also worked well as an ‘office’ for the week. Cleaning, laundry, bathroom, and pet supplies galore. Deck with table was a great outdoor dining option, and fire pit with couch and 4 chairs was a wonderful outdoor entertaining space. Our dog loved having an enclosed yard where he could chase rabbits and harass the squirrels and birds—just beware of pesky Michigan ticks, he had 2 during our stay. Driveway parking was fine for summer. Location was perfect for easy walks into the heart of adorable Three Oaks or around the neighborhood. So many cute antique shops, home goods shops, bakeries, coffee shop, restaurants (we esp loved Oaks Eatery & Tom Cat Tavern). Quick access to New Buffalo, Union Pier, and Warren Dunes. Will be back!

Beautiful place and perfect location

My partner and I came to Three Oaks for a 5 day getaway put of Chicago. The house was pristine and an absolute delight to stay in. In fact, I am not sure I've ever stayed at a short-term rental property that was as high quality in terms of cleanliness and amenities. The location is also outstanding as you are less than 5 minutes away from everything in the neighborhood you would want to experience. The fenced in backyard was perfect for our pup and everything we needed to grill and have a nice fire at nighttime. The location is also close to New Buffalo (10 min drive) and several other towns are within a 30-minute drive. I highly recommend staying here and we look forward to doing it again ourselves.

The property needs some attention. Upon arrival the outdoor trash cans were full. We were asked to bring them to the curb (even though it wasn’t our garbage). In addition, there were clothes from the previous guests left in the closet. Poor water pressure, dusty furniture, filthy gas grill, and the exterior which looked nothing like the photos was beyond disappointing. The only saving grace was the renovated attic space which was not enough to make up for the other things lacking. We left a day early because it just wasn’t worth the time. Communication with the property manager was very uneven. When I informed her we were checking out she did not acknowledge the notification. Perhaps we stayed on the wrong days because my experience was nothing like the other reviews. Too many other places in SW Michigan to come here ever again.

Great Getaway

Our second stay here and just as enjoyable as the first time. Plenty of room to spread out, with three floors available for living and sleeping. Love the kitchen island for food prep, and the dining room table was great for eating and playing games. Highly recommend!

Three Oaks Relaxing

We loved our stay here. The town of three oaks is great. You're only 15 minutes from Warren Dunes State park for all your Beach needs, but you get to stay in a wonderful little small town with some awesome shops and great restaurants. We had three generations under one roof so it was great to be a place were people could go get ice cream or coffee whenever they wanted and to stay in a house with space to spread out. The house is big, the beds are coming and the decorations are awesome. We loved our stay.

Great house!

Three Oaks is a great little town! Close to New Buffalo and Warren State Park. This house was perfect for our family! We enjoyed walking around town in the evening to checkout a few local restaurants. Journeyman was our favorite! We will definitely be back. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Nice clean updated house

I was pleased with this rental. The beds were very comfortable. It was clean. My dogs loved it. The bathrooms and decor was nice. There were a couple of very minor house repairs that I mentioned to the property manager and she said she would fix them right away. If I come back for a vacation I’ll be looking for this place again.

Great Communication

The house was wonderful, walking distance from town, and a quick drive to the beach. As expected with any vacation rental, there were a couple issues with the internet and the door lock but Carla was so communicative, prompt, and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. Other comments have stated opinions of a high cleaning fee and closing up chores. We did not find either to be unreasonable - strip the beds, start wash, and empty the garbages. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Was a very cutely decorated, clean, spacious house! Only complaint was that it was very hot and the AC broke, but the hosts were very helpful and got someone there to fix it that same night at 10pm which was awesome. Would definitely recommend to someone else

Great place to stay

Wonderful stay for a friend vacation. Bedrooms were roomy, kitchen had a wonderful island, dining room table was perfect for playing cards as well as eating. Older house with exceptional updates. Third floor suite was particularly nice. Only small complaint was the outside deck was not very clean - chair cushions were dirty, and needs a good power wash. Overall the place was excellent and we would definitely rent again!

Great location and a great property

The property was amazing! Everything was very modern and updated. The house had everything a couple or group could need to have a truly enjoyable weekend. The location was fantastic and only a five or 10 minute walk to all the amenities in Three Oaks. Carla was an outstanding host and very responsive.
