NUEVA LISTA: en Hoodwood, todo es bueno en este vecindario, como verá rápidamente. Esta encantadora cabaña de 1920 ha sido restaurada junto con sus cabañas vecinas, lo que la convierte en una comunidad muy unida. A menudo los vecinos se reúnen en los porches de los demás o caminan hacia el centro para tomar café, cenar o ir de compras. Nuestro popular centro está a solo tres cuadras de distancia. Esta cabaña está decorada con buen gusto por Nan Myers, propietaria de Firefly, que ha estado iluminando el centro de Thomasville, GA. por más de veinte años Hoodwood es una pequeña lengua en la mejilla ya que la decoración da un guiño sutil a Robin Hood y al Sr. Rogers, todo al mismo tiempo. El punto es que queremos que se sienta aparte de nuestro vecindario y de Thomasville, GA. durante tu estancia. En el interior, hemos creado una cabaña que es acogedora, cómoda y atractiva. Cada habitación tiene sábanas de alta gama, mantas y edredones que fomentan una noche de descanso. Tenemos dos reinas y un par de gemelas. La cocina está completamente equipada, incluido nuestro café favorito de Crested Butte, Colorado. Lo alentamos a que compre quesos de Sweetgrass Dairy, deliciosos guisos de Relish (nos encanta el juego Wild), bagels y frotis de Empire Bagel.

Perfect Stay!

We stayed at Hoodwood Bed and Breakfast to attend a football game in Tallahassee and what a smart decision this was. The home was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. Walking distance from downtown Thomasville, we enjoyed our walk to dinner and listening to a band in the town’s amphitheater. The homeowner was responsive throughout our stay. Highly recommend this property.

Charming Property & Excellent Host

I've stayed in quite a few VRBOs and let me tell you, they are not created equal! This property is well situated on a quaint, tree-lined street blocks from shops and restaurants. Additionally, the host is responsive and works to ensure the comfort of guests. I love Thomasville and hope to visit in the near future. This will be my choice for any future accomodations!

BEST OF ALL WORLDS

How can I even begin to describe how fabulous Hoodwood is?! From the moment we booked until the moment we departed, EVERYTHING was SPOT ON. The communication was immediate and positive , the check in was seamless. The fridge held our most precious possession- Cream for the ALSO provided amazing coffee!!!! Now this is a woman after my HEART!!! This home is perfectly appointed and the moment you enter, you are HOME. The location not only allows you to be on Broad Street in minutes, but also gives you the feeling that you are a part of the neighborhood and invites you to enjoy your coffee on the porch while chatting with neighbors. In other words, you are right downtown while still being nestled in a cozy neighborhood - did I say it was the BEST of ALL WORLDS?! If you are seeking a getaway filled with southern charm and hospitality, look no further - you are there!!!

Quaint Historical Home In Thomasville

The property managers are fantastic. They live next door to this rental and were accommodating when we arrived. The home is historical and older but has a great feel and is full of warmth. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking to stay in Thomasville. It is walking distance to downtown nightlife.

An absolute gem in the heart of Thomasville

I grew up in Thomasville but do not get back there often enough. Hoodwood is an adorably restored cottage from the early 1900s outfitted with all of the modern amenities from top of the line appliances to fast Wifi and smart TVs. It's location is perfect just a couple of blocks from Thomasville's historic downtown. The hosts were amazing and the check-in-check-out process was a breeze. I couldn't recommend this place more for families or couples looking to stay a short walk from the best Thomasville has to offer. You'd be hard-pressed to find a better option.

Very nice, cozy and relaxing.

We were in town for a wedding and enjoyed the house very much. Built in 1916 it had many unique features being a former carriage house. The owners were attentive and informative.

Great stay in Thomasville!

This property is perfect for your trip to Thomasville! It is a charming, older home a short walk to the downtown shops and restaurants. Nan went out of her way to make our stay comfortable - gifting us a bag of whole bean coffee from her favorite coffee shop and compiling a list of her favorite places to eat in the area. (Can I say she nailed the recommendations? I'm still in a food coma.) Definitely check this property out if you're in the area!

Beautiful and clean house, great location

The house is a few blocks from the downtown shops and restaurants. The neighborhood and house are in a safe and quiet location and the home is beautifully decorated and maintained. The property owner communicates all information. I will stay here every time I visit Thomasville.

Wonderful family time!

I was attending my nephew’s wedding and stayed here with my two nieces and significant other! Wonderful location and truly loved the home! Very spacious. It doesn’t say this in the listing but all bedrooms are attached to a bathroom. The master has its own private en-suite and the other two bedrooms have a Jack and Jill bathroom. Their coffee they provided was the BEST I have had in a long time and I will be ordering some from Colorado! Great property!!!

Beautiful House in Great Neighborhood

We had a really great time at the house, unfortunately for just a long weekend. We’ll definitely be back the house is lovely and has everything one needs, including very comfortable beds. It’s super close to loads of shops and restaurants, and walking through town is easy. The house is also near some great biking trails, both paved and dirt. Nan and her husband are a wealth of information about local biking paths. We can’t wait to return. Thanks Nan!!
