King size bed means maybe a king size bed or a few doubles pushed together (this happens to be common practice in Greece) Carpet needs a good washing / my girls were running around barefoot and their feet became black Air conditioner; was not that cold / hallway had the heat on / room smelled like an ashtray Hard to find the Ice Maker in the hallway Staff are well trained and present to be with Wish I got the Hyatt Standard i was expecting...
The Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki was recommended to us. I cannot say enough good things about the facility and the staff of this hotel. The hotel is gorgeous!!! The rooms were clean. Beds comfortable. The outdoor pool spectacular!!! The staff friendly and extremely responsive and caring. On the last night of our family vacation in Greece, our five year old son fell at the pool. He received outstanding care from the Hyatt staff -from the individuals who provided First Aid, to the doctor who was paged to exam him and who then accompanied us to the local ER. As tourists on a family vacation in a foreign country, we were so appreciative of the Hyatt staff -their concern for our son and their assistance in making the medical arrangements. Thankfully his injury was minor and he's since healed.
