Experience farm life in style! This fully furnished modern attached guesthouse with private entrance sits on beautiful grounds and gardens with a full view of Mount Hood. Enjoy world class biking, hiking, and water sports! It’s a 10 minute drive to historic downtown The Dalles for wine tasting, brewpubs, and shopping. The Columbia River boasts some of the best wind surfing in the country. Hiking, fishing, and skiing, are all within striking distance too. Come home to a luxury open concept apartment with well stocked kitchen and game room. The main bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and walk in closet. The game room boasts a combination pool and air hockey table, along with lots of games and books. There is also a comfortable double futon bed and access to a washer and dryer. Smart TVs are available in both sleeping areas. Electric fire places create a warm ambiance in the bedroom and living room. Large windows along the length of the whole apartment make sure you don’t miss the stunning views and wildlife. There is a gas fire pit and patio right outside the door along with gas grill and utensils. Trickle charging for your EV is available!

Second time staying for a girls biking gravel bicycles) weekend, there's no better place. Really. Amazing and accommodating hosts. Quiet, clean and well appointed space. The garden space is phenomenal- the LILACS stole the show this stay. Lots of incredible gravel routes just out the front door.

This is a great place to stay! Its clean and well cared for, you can tell they didnt cheap out or cut corners when it came to putting this place together. The owners were around but it honestly felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Its in a beautiful area just 15 minutes out of town I cant recommend here enough. I regret being busy and not having more time to relax in the yard.

This was a beautiful little basement apartment with a nice view of Mt Hood from the grounds. The place was private, safe, and well taken care of. We met and visited with Lisa who has helped her hubby in making this a nice getaway. Kitchen was well stocked. Furniture was very comfortable, the place was quiet, and the owners had left lots of little treats around the apartment. The property was out of the way a bit....off the beaten track, but that made it all the more special and safe. For us it worked well for visiting White River Falls in Oregon and Columbia Hills State Park (for our She Who Watches tour--Native American petroglyphs and pictographs) in Washington just across the Columbia River. Because it was off the beaten path we had to think about our destinations and combine trips as needed, but it was not a problem. We had a very comfortable stay in a nice place.

Great views, comfortable and welcoming. Saw deer and a few stars (I bet this place is amazing for star gazing when the skys are clear). The drive from The Dalles to the house through fall color of the cherry orchards was perfection, making it a quiet home-based for exploring the area.

These accommodations were amazing! They're actually the lower half-floor of a beautiful custom home of the hosts Lisa, Shay, and a bevy of their tamed domesticated animals (that let you sleep in). All rooms--bedroom, great room / full kitchen, bathroom, and game room--are large, tastefully decorated, provisioned, and appointed. The first day, we were often surprised upon finding yet another welcome gift subtly placed about the great room. Queen size bed is very comfortable (but we wish it had been a king size). The grounds are open to guests, and yes, when Mt. Hood honors you with an appearance it is as stunning as the view shown on the website. Wish we had stayed 3-4 nights to appreciate all the property and region had to offer.Advice: Some deduct for the location but we normally live in the country--much further away from a good city than The Dalles is from this home. We came up from Bend, OR and unless you can keep provisions cold on the drive up, you need to stop no later than Madras for fresh food. But The Dalles is less than 15 minutes away and choices of fresh food, restaurants (The Hi-Way House is a MUST), and wine tastings (Fifteen-Mile Winery).

Absolutely incredible, the communication was great, the setting beautiful ( sunrise, sunsets and Mt.Hood) the Hosts were amazing ( thank you again for fresh eggs and fresh baked bread). The bed was oh so comfortable and everything we need from cooking to recreation was available ( Lisa thank you again for lending Clay the fishing rod) I have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals and in all aspects I would give this one a 10-10 .

Best stay ever

It was majestic getting to stay on Lisa and Shay’s beautiful farm and gardens. Our hosts were beyond helpful and shared all of their beautiful property (including the wonderful vegetable, fruits and eggs from the chickens). The kids enjoyed the pool table, air hockey and darts while my husband and I loved laying in the hammock outside with beautiful sunset views of mt hood. We would travel to this area just to stay here again. Absolutely heaven!

One of the most beautiful properties I've seen

I was absolutely blown away by this property—from the moment I arrived, it felt like something out of a dream. The views of Mt. Hood are truly spectacular, and the setting is peaceful and picture-perfect. Inside, the home was spotless and beautifully maintained. The hosts went above and beyond with thoughtful touches like treats, snacks, and even a bottle of wine waiting for me. It was clear that every detail had been considered with care. Incredible property and helpful hosts. We are a group of besties/female cyclists (great gravel and road options from the location driveway is 9% and gravel!). Comfortable beds. Well appointed kitchen. Welcoming vibes galore! Lilac trees in full bloom, friendly chickens and a ginger kitty (none of these intrusive!). Amazing sunrises and sunsets. Don’t hesitate - book this one!! It’s a winner!!
