Disliked: Staff & service, room comfort
Efficient check in. Room was clean. They were the only two good points. Bed/pillows were rock hard both hardly slept. Could hear everyone in the corridor and next door clear as anything. Stay away from the restaurant for a meal. Complete and utter disaster. Every member of staff told you something different and contradictory the person before. Busy with Christmas party’s (understandable at this time of year) and our food order had been rushed in the kitchen. I had a steak, certainly not cooked to order and my partner had a chicken curry where it had been burnt on the outside and not cooked in the middle. Manager came over and would not accept our problem and spoke to us like children (we are in our early 50s) her attitude and manner was not professional at all but that’s what you get when you have young 20 somethings in charge. Come the next day my partner unfortunately could not be far from a bathroom. So, again only eat in the restaurant if you have a really good cast iron stomach and god forbid if you have words with a certain on duty manager.
