The container was even better than expected! It was clean, looked nice and it had all of the small conveniences needed. I was nicely surprised by the abundance of towels and pillows. Things that are often lacking in vacation rentals. There was also a lovely gameroom that made me want to come back with extended family. The container room was located in Terlingua minutes from Big Bend National Park and close to many outfitters. We used Far Flung Outfitters to canoe on the Rio Grande. We decided that this is where we will return, if and when we come back to Big Bend. This trip was for a weekend only.

This place was perfect for us! It was clean, comfortable, and had super easy access to laundry facilities. The location was very convenient and the owners were fantastic about communicating with us prior to our trip. We hated to leave!

We enjoyed our stay at Stardust. Our family of 4 had plenty of sleeping space in the container unit. In order to spread out a bit in the evening we made use of the clubhouse which had a big island where we set up to watch basketball and football games, while playing darts or air hockey during the breaks. We unfortunately didn't get to appreciate the night sky since we were there on one of the rare rainy stretches. We appreciated the very close proximity to Big Bend National Park which we visited every day during our stay (only about 5 minutes away from the Study Butte/Terlingua entrance station). We made use of the kitchen in our unit every morning and it had everything we needed to prep simple meals (plenty of pans, plates, toaster, etc). We would recommend this place to anyone interested in being close to the national park for daily excursions.

Great stay

We stayed with the hopes of seeing the Milky Way in the Dark Sky area. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans with unusual storms in the area. Our stay in the container was great! We had everything we needed to be able to cook dinner then breakfast before heading to Big Bend NP. The owners sent a good amount of information before our trip with helped tremendously!

Fantastic Retreat in the Big Bend area!

Our goal during a bucket list trip to Big Bend National Park was to spend a full day hiking and enjoying the desert environment knowing we had a comfortable place to relax after a long day in the park. Stardust's Big Bend was perfect and exceeded all expectations! Hosts were prompt, thorough and thoughtful while returning any inquiry we had, large or small. We stayed at the Container unit and enjoyed new appliances, fresh linens, and a full kitchen... all impeccably clean. The entire complex grounds were groomed, clean and safe. While we didn't use the club house, we did check in and could see how it would be a great asset to guests with kids and teens. The night sky was wonderful and the hosts' focus on night time light discipline made it possible. Location was a big plus with immediate proximity to Terlingua and only minutes away from Lajitas and the Big Bend National Park. Stardust Big Bend played a significant role in helping create the perfect Big Bend get away. Hands down, we'll be back and we'll stay at Stardust Big Bend. Fantastic experience. Great job, and thank you!
