Great little cabin

We needed a place to stay near Bemidiji for a week while the kids were at language camp, plus some time to hang out as a family beforehand. Really fun little cabin on a quiet lake - with available kayaks!

UTV getaway

This was just perfect for two couples. When we weren’t riding or out for dinner, we enjoyed playing games and putting a puzzle together. Great find!

Relaxing Time Away!

We had a very relaxing time at The Little Gem. We fished a little, we took our puppy out for a swim and a few jumps off the dock, and we spent quality time with family. No work for the time we spent there made it even better! Meghan was super responsive and we didn't have any issues.

Serene Escape

Location was super! Very quiet and serene but able to access activities including Itasca State Park. Cabin was next to lake which was so peaceful and 2 fire pits. We all had a wonderful week!!

Lovely Lake Home

My family loved our stay at this property. Having the lake right there was great for star gazing at night, taking the kayaks out to explore the lake and checkout the birds, and to splash around in. We also explored the surrounding area and can't say enough about how fun the Bemidji area is (my kids are already saying they miss it). After a day of playing and exploring, the house provided a comfortable home base to recharge and rest. Meghan, the host, was very communicative and thoughtful. I would highly recommend this place.

Quick visit

We had to make a trip to Bemidji with our family for a birthday party. Our stay at The Little Gem was perfect. We didn't have time to take the kayaks out but loved enjoying the view from the dock, campfire and s'mores by the lake and the simple comfort of the house. The space was clean, bright and inviting and we look forward to returning.

Great Labor Day Weekend at Gull Lake

Property was as described! Plenty of room for the 5 of us. Communication was great and the property was clean. Very close to the lake with private dock to put your boat. Kayaks on site with life jackets, etc. Air conditioning was turned on and cool upon our arrival. Two fire pits, one close to the cabin and the other closer to the water. Will definitely stay here again if I’m ever in the area! Thanks Meghan for the great experience for our family!

Cozy place very clean and beautiful! Quiet neighborhood in the country but close enough to blackduck and bemidji to explore or get supplies. We enjoyed our visit and would book this cabin again!

my stay

very clean and wonderfully decorated cabin. the maser bed was very comfortable with great bedding. caught sunfish, northern pike and largemouth bass right off the dock. Megan was a wonderful host and I wouldn't hesitate for one second on booking again, The cabin was very comfortable and inviting

Perfection!

Everything we could have needed was provided. This was my first time doing something like this and it could not have been easier. All of my questions were answered in a timely fashion, all normal home accoutrements (cookware, towels, coffee, and even S'MORES!) were there, and they even provided enough wood for two nights worth of bonfires (which was a HUGE convenience for me so I didn't have to buy any). The whole process and stay was absolutely painless and I would absolutely choose to stay here anytime in the future!
