Lovely place to stay. The pool was bigger than it seemed from the photos and was heated enough to be comfortable for hours at a time in a hot week in February. Beds all very comfortable and lots of nice aesthetic touches inside. Outside area very inviting with beautiful planting and comfortable seating. The drive to the property is narrow and steep - not for nervous drivers.

When we got there all the windows to the property were open. We didn’t realise why until a day into our trip but the sewerage pipes were faulty. The agent clearly knew there was an issue when we got there as they were airing the place out. We complained after the second night as I found the smell so bad I had to sleep on the sofa. We also had to go to ikea to buy new towels, a colander, bottle opener and tea towels (which we left for the owner). The kitchen cabinet that houses the dishwasher is falling apart. Although the property sleeps 6, the tables are for 4 and the sofa can fit 3 people at a squeeze. The ikea trip, kitchen issue, tables, sofa I wouldn’t even mention if they were the only issues. But with the sewer smell also, I want to show all the flaws.

What a lovely place
Everything was great, especially the pool and the kitchen. You have to pay extra for the pool to be heated but it is worth it, the water temperature was very pleasant. The place is remote but that is what we were looking for.
The only fault I could find was the dated bathrooms but overall a five star stay!
