Pet friendly, nice staff, good local restaurants near by, affordable.... where we stay usually just needs to meet the basics and this place does without being shifty or unclean. They usually have a good restaurant option and bar in the hotel, but currently doing renovations.

The hallway was filthy and that was an immediate turn off, the room itself was fine, king bed, more modern but walking to our room in that hallway where the carpet was stained, food all over it, the lobby and non-existent restaurant was also very uninviting. You will definitely hear every truck, car 18 wheeler driving on that busy road that leads to and from Ouray. For one night it was okay but I can see why it was not busy. Also restaurants in Ridgway close by 8:30.

Nice amenities, but our bed was broken and the floor was sticky and gritty. Noisy, busy, and def not cozy. But we slept well and it got the job done. But not on par with other hotels at this price.
