Situado en la campiña virgen e idílica del este del Algarve, Vila Laurinha se encuentra a unos 30 km al este de Faro y a solo 7 minutos en coche de la histórica y pintoresca ciudad de Tavira. La frontera española está a solo 20 km. La villa es servida por el característico pueblo local de Santo Estevao, con una tienda, cafetería, restaurante y todos los cajeros automáticos y farmacias importantes. Playas, campos de golf y parques acuáticos están a poca distancia en coche, al igual que el aeropuerto de Faro a 25 minutos. Hay algunos maravillosos paseos y lugares de picnic al norte con increíbles vistas del campo y el océano. La ciudad de Tavira tiene un sabor claramente veneciano y se encuentra en el campo virgen del este del Algarve. Hay una variedad de restaurantes y bares a precios razonables que sirven comida tradicional portuguesa e internacional para todos los gustos y bolsillos. El mercado diario de pescado y general sirve como epicentro con el antiguo puente romano que data de la ocupación romana. La ciudad se desarrolló por la ocupación árabe y fue conquistada por los portugueses en 1242. En el siglo 16, Tavira sirvió como un puerto importante en el Algarve

Erholsame Urlaubstage

Wir waren in den Herbstferien 12 Tage in dem wunderbaren Ferienhaus und hatten eine erholsame Zeit. Das gesamte Team des Ferienhauses war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Pool war herrlich warm, genau das was wir uns gewünscht hatten. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet, wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Ein kleiner Nachteil war die nahegelegene Autobahn. Vielen Dank nochmal an das Team des Ferienhauses für den guten Service.

2nd Visit to Villa Laurinha

A family holiday with our 2yr old grandson and his 3 month old sister (and their parents of course). The villa was as we remembered it from our previous visit in 2017 with our other grandaughters.. The villa is well equipped and beds very comfortable

Fantastic holiday in a beautiful villa with a pool!

We had the pleasure of spending our holiday at this wonderful accommodation in Portugal, and it was simply amazing! With a group of 7 people, we had an unforgettable time here. The villa offers everything you could wish for a relaxing holiday. The pool was definitely the highlight for us! It was clean, well-maintained, and the perfect size for swimming a few laps or simply relaxing and soaking up the sun. The house itself left nothing to be desired: spacious and comfortable rooms with cozy beds, a well-equipped kitchen, and a large outdoor area where we often enjoyed barbecues and meals together. The attention to detail in the décor is particularly noteworthy – it’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into creating a welcoming atmosphere. A special thanks to Terry, the host, for making our stay so enjoyable. The communication was excellent – friendly, helpful. We highly recommend this accommodation – whether for a family vacation or a trip with friends. We would definitely come back!

Agréable séjour

La villa est très grande et propre, la grande terrasse super et piscine au top, juste un petit bémol pas d'air conditionné dans le salon mais présent dans toutes les chambres, il y a de belles brises sur la terrasse en soirée et pas de moustiques en plus, c était magnifique.

Wir waren sehr begeistert von der Unterkunft. Wir haben uns herzlich empfangen gefühlt und vom ersten Moment wie zu Hause. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und die Betten sehr gemütlich. Die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Größe des Pools unschlagbar. Nach 11 Tagen in dem wunderschönen Haus und der perfekte Umgebung von Tavira fahren wir erholt wieder nach Hause.

Amazing stay

Fantastic villa!

Just returned from a family holiday at this beautiful villa. We had plenty contact from Paula with directions and times and she met us there. Facilities were excellent and everything thought of to make a great stay. Rural location so car needed which suited us perfectly. Very modern and stylish decor inside and great pool area. Would highly recommend and hoping to return.

Fantastic set up, great location

Only half-hour ish from the airport, 15mins drive to pretty much any local attraction. Property was very large for a 4 bedroom place. It was well presented, modern and in good condition. The traffic noise seemed to fade in the afternoon (which may be down to wind or heat or something else sciencey). It bothered us at first but then we forgot about it. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful, clean and well equipped villa with A/C, which was most welcome in the very hot weather during our stay. Villa has a lovely pool and is very conveniently situated near the bustling town of Tavira. The only downside is its location close to the A22 and the associated traffic noise.

Fantastic villa, semi rural location but close to facilities

Lovely spacious villa, with four good sized bedrooms, 3 of which have large double beds, the fourth room has 2 single beds. All rooms had aircon, lovely en-suite bathrooms, shutters on the windows (which helped keep the rooms cool) and plenty of storage. Well equipped kitchen, large fridge freezer with an ice maker and drinking water, good quality bed linen and plenty of towels, including pool/beach towels. The patio area is lovely (but in need of a little attention) with plenty of pool chairs, loungers, bbq area etc. Although some loungers were looking a little tired and two were broken, we advised our contact and it was sorted out almost immediately and a new larger parasol was provided, which was very much appreciated. Not the owners fault but there are a lot of dogs around who think they are cockerel’s, as they did like barking together, in unison, at dawn. Although it’s a rural location, it’s close to the motorway, so you did get a bit of traffic noise, it didn’t bother us that much. Tiny tip - Take plenty of mosquito repellent and close windows before the sun goes down. Our contact (Paula) was extremely helpful and the welcome pack of breads, cheese and meats etc, after a long day of travelling and late evening arrival was amazing and really appreciated. We would definitely return, lovely villa indeed.

Lovely Villa

The villa was very spacious and well equipped. Beds were comfortable. We asked for a new frying pan and some more logs, as it was cool the first couple of evenings, and were very impressed when these were brought promptly. The pool and terrace were also very large. Unfortunately we could hear traffic at all times as there is a motorway/main road nearby. We were also hugely disturbed during the day and through the night by barking dogs which I appreciate is not the owner’s fault but feel he should try to address this with the dogs’ owners. Overall we had a lovely time.

Spacious, well appointed villa with large pool

Spacious, well equipped and clean villa located in the countryside only minutes from Tavira. Very comfortable. We were only two but the four en- suite bedrooms makes it ideal for a large famlly or group. Beautiful large pool and lots of outside seating space - shaded or open. Communication with the owner was fast and helpful. Paula, who speaks good English, was very flexible with the check-in and we appreciated the generous welcome 'pack'. We would love to return and have no hesitation in recommending a stay here.

Ein rund um klasse Urlaub in einem super Ferienhaus

Großes Ferienhaus, inkl. großem Pool bei schönstem Oktober-Wetter. Was will man mehr. 4 Schlafräume (für zwei Personen) inkl. eigenem Bad, welches über Badewanne, Dusche und WC verfügt. (Manko, Wasserdruck lässt etwas zu wünschen übrig). Küche gut eingerichtet. (Manko, Geschirrspüler bekomtm das Geschirr nicht richtig gesäubert, häufiges Abwaschen von Hand notwendig.) Kommunikation zum und mit dem Vermieter Top. Großer Wohnbereich, wäre bei schlechtem Wetter sehr gut geignet sich die Zeit zu vertreiben. Wurde kaum genutzt, bis gar nicht genutzt. Das Haus liegt abgelegen, jedoch sind unterschiedliche Stände in ca. 30 Minuten Fahrzeit zu erreichen. Einkaufsmöglichkeit, Supermarkt in ca. 10-15 Minuten erreicbbar. Manko ... Schnellstraße in er Nähe des Hauses geht aus dem Inserat nicht hervor. Fraulaufende Hunde können auch etwas stören, wenn man meint man möchte einen Spaziergang machen. Wobei ein Spaziergang eher in der Gegend eher keinen Sinn macht. Die Hunde bellen recht viel und teilweise auch sehr früh, ersetzten teilweise einen Hanhn und werden auch mal vor der Haustür vorstellig, tuen aber wahrscheinlich nichts (scheinen noch recht jung zu sein, bin kein Hundekenner). Drauf ankommen lassen wollte ich die Begegnung mit den Hunden aber auch nicht. Unterm Strich, zwei wundervolle und erholsame Wochen, gehabt.
