This Penthouse Apartment is located just a few minutes walk from the centre of Tavira and is within easy reach of The Gran Plaza Shopping Centre.
The Apartment is fully air conditioned and has a fully equipped kitchen with an electric oven, fridge and freezer, dishwasher machine, integrated microwave and washing machine.Includes drying frame, ironing board, and detergents,.
The kitchen leads to a South facing balcony with table and chairs from which you can enjoy an early breakfast in the sunshine or a late evening drink.

The lounge has sliding doors which also lead to the balcony. There is a sofa bed if a 5th person wished to stay. The room is equipped with a flat screen TV and DVD player and wireless internet is included at no extra cost. There is also a dining table and chairs from which to relax and share a meal or a bottle of wine

Bedroom 1 is air conditioned and has a double bed and fitted wardrobes. Sliding doors lead out to a private balcony with views to the swimming pool and Tavira town to the west . Bedroom 2 is also air conditioned and has 2 single beds and fitted wardrobes. Each bedroom is served by a fully equipped bathroom with shower.
The apartment is located in a gated condominium, with a shared pool and gardens. Underground parking is available.

The Apartment is a 10 minute walk into the old town which is one of the best preserved in the Algarve and many of its cobbled streets are pedestrianised. Street cafes and inexpensive restaurants abound and fish is a specialty. The Town Council organises a busy program of entertainments through the summer – street theatre, folk music and dancing, concerts, fairs, exhibitions, balloon races, air displays, film and culinary festivals,

The beaches in this region are quite simply stunning, golden and, with 7km of pristine sandy shoreline to choose from, which never gets overcrowded.The beach in Tavira is a blue flag beach, separated from the mainland by the sea and has to be reached by a ferry boat or water taxi.It is certainly worth doing as the island is beautiful- it feels like being on your own tropical island! The ferry boat can be boarded from the river side in town and takes about 10-15 minutes.

The Santa Maria condominium has both a full size and a childrens pool with lawns with trees providing privacy.. There is also leisure centre next door to the condominium which has an indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, gardens and a children's playpark.

We had a wonderful time in Tavira. The property was in a great position and we were able to walk to all parts of the town. We didn't actually use the pool as we prefer the beach and there are lovely beaches in the area. There are some really good restaurants in the area and the scenery is lovely. The apartment is spacious and well equipped and we highly recommend it.b

This is a great apartment - spacious, excellent location with easy parking and access to a big pool on site. Very near local amenities including a big supermarket and shopping centre. Wonderful Apartment

This is a wonderful apartment. Location is perfect - nearby cafes and restaurants, leisurely 15 min stroll to centre of Tavira. Easy access to main road should you wish to visit other towns. Vehicle and pedestrian gates so completely secure. Apartment itself is outstanding, pictures dont do it justice. Light and airy, sparkling clean throughout and 2 balconies - so choice of sun or shade. All the furnishings, equipment,linen and towels are of highest quality- a refreshing change for a rental property. The biggest plus is the caring owner, Collette. Communication before and during stay is exemplary, Collette answers e mails immediately. She clearly wants all her guests to enjoy the apartment and surroundings as much as she does. We have been self catering in the Tavira area for many years, this is the best by a country mile, would highly recommend.

the apartment was very accurately described. very modern and new. easy walk to central village and to shopping center. next to school and municipal pool. on site parking. only complaint is that the security lights in the surrounding buildings make it bright all night. you have to roll down a metal shade to darken the bedroom. well stocked kitchen. thoughtful touches of spices, essential papers and a bottle of wine!. thank you

Collette was absolutely amazing so helpful and nothing was to much trouble. My only concern was that some of the windows didn't lock, I know this wasn't a problem as we were on the second floor but it did keep me awake the first night. Lots of lovely touches left at the apartment, milk, tea, coffee, bottles of wine and beer which was so lovely. Beautiful location and all within walking distance. My only concern is dropping off the key at the end of our stay, maybe this needs to be looked at.

Great Stay

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at Collette's condo in Tavira. Very comfortable unit with modern conveniences. Location was two minute walk to large shopping center and 5 minute drive to downtown and Old Town. She even greeted us with wine and goodies upon arrival. Relaxing Week

This apartment was lovely. The location was very good - an excellent supermarket about two minutes away and a nice walk into Tavira town centre, it was super clean and bright. The host (Collette) was very quick to respond to an email which I sent her asking if she was able to help us with bus and train locations within the town. I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment and when I return to Tavira this would be where I would choose to stay. Thank you Collette.

Fantastic stay

Everything about the apartment was perfect and as described. The owner couldn’t do enough for you. Any queries were answered within the hour before and after our arrival. Nothing was too much for her. We are able to check in 2 hours early as our flight arrived at lunch time. Would highly recommend. Quiet apartment only 10 minutes walk to the centre but a few local restaurants round the corner which was great. Tavira has loads of places to eat and drink across all price ranges. We went in for 2 weeks in September.

This property has it all !!!!. Extremely well kept property with all the amenities you will ever need for your holiday. kitchen is well planned and has lots of kitchen equipment if you care to cook. Plenty of wonderful restaurants nearby at very reasonable cost, all meals were delicious 5*. Large supermarket beside you for all your breakfast needs and wonderful friendly staff. Weather was wonderful and also the swimming pool was a great asset to the property. Fantastic 'home from home'

I stayed in this fabulous apartment with two friends in the middle of a heat wave in June. I don't think there is anything which could be improved. The apartment is light, bright and spacious, well equipped with everything you need for a holiday, or longer. The beds are comfy, bedding and towels good quality, and the air con is super efficient. During our stay there seemed to be very few other apartments occupied so it was very quiet internally and outside in the lovely garden and pool - most of the time we had it to ourselves. We were welcomed by Viktorya, even though our plane and taxi were late and she explained how everything worked, showed us the generous welcome pack and bottle of wine and encouraged us to use anything in the cupboards. Tavira itself is charming, and in the almost 40 degree heat we made much use of the ferry to Tavira Island and its gorgeous beaches. There are scores of cafes, restaurants and shops in the town. Because of the heat we didn't travel far but we did visit nearby Olhao which is very picturesque. What made this stay so welcoming and easy was the communication with owner Collette, who answers all queries usually by return and is so professional and friendly that I feel I have made a new friend. We may never meet, although we hope we might, but I know I have a lovely contact should I ever wish to return. It would certainly be to this lovely apartment if I do. I can't recommend it enough.

Weve had a wonderful 2 weeks in santa maria apts Tavira The whole booking process was so smooth and the host was so helpful with my questions beforehand. We have been to Tavira before but this time we chose Colette’s apartment because of the well presented listing and all the lovely reviews on the property. We arrived with great communication and a lovely welcome to a spacious, clean, well presented and equipped apartment with everything we needed. The welcome items and basic store cupboard items were appreciated. The location is a short distance away from the centre of Tavira with the Gran Plaza shopping complex and supermarket within walking distance. The apartment was very peaceful and the complex is very secure. Communication with Collette is absolutely first class and any messages are replied to almost instantly so thank you Collette. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone.

Fantastic apartment

This is our 3rd stay in this apartment. It is perfectly situated for the town centre, restaurants and access to lots of beaches. It is well equipped and very comfortable with all mod cons. We cannot wait to return.
