Last minute booking. No front desk in evening. You phone a cell phone and you get code to lock box and directions. Parking on site narrow, lucky motel was not full. Has Netflix but no Sky TV. Has a kitchen with MW and hob, no oven. Very basic supplies. Clean and good for the price.

Very easy check in, lovely and clean and very well kept. We were in a bottom unit, we did notice if someone had a shower upstairs we could hear the water running, but no other noise it was lovely and quiet. The car park is a bit tight, but ok. Would stay again

My stay there was adequate.The staff were very friendly and accommodating.The location was brilliant being across the road from the lake and walking distance to a pub 100m up the road and Taupo central.The only criticisms I would make is the parking up the back was a bit cramped , the microwave smelt like an old phone box and the spa bath need a scrub.It looked like the previous guest had given themselves a Brazilian the night before.Otherwise would stay there again but would be very carefull of using Trivago as a booking site.I ended making the booking using US$ and paid considerably more than what I should have, Cheers

For the price point during the NY period it was expensive for what you got. You can hear everything in the upstairs rooms including the showers going, the TV on, doors closing and loud shouting. The bed in the lounge was far too soft and caved in when you sat on it, and the lounge is too cramped with a couch, bed, TV plus table and chairs. No privacy in the main bedroom either or on both balconys. Only book if you're desperate!

We liked the convenience to everything in the Taupo area. We also liked our room facilities and the comfortable bed and pillows. We were meant to take a snapshot of what type of mattress it was and who makes it so we could buy one just like it but we forgot to do it
