If you want to visit the new gallery and M$33 development at the Boyd Education Centre?
Looking at visiting Bundanon Art Museum? The Boyd Education Centre? The new development at Riversdale? Tapitallee Lodges are the closest affordable accommodation. Uwannavu is just a couple of kilometres away.
Uwannavu is new to the holiday market.
Tucked away but with a fantastic view Uwannavu will impress. It's our newest cottage with wide opening doors across the front to enjoy the peace and quite and let the outside in. Uwannavu is snug and cosy, with tremendous insulation, a slow combustion fire, heated bathroom floor and kangaroos often grazing on the front lawn.
Tapitallee Lodges has four cottages, Uwannavu, Wisteria Cottage, The Stables and Heron's Rest. Each cottage is different and they are separated for privacy and quietness. Check them out. The Boyd homestead is also open on Saturday and Sunday. It is also worth the trip to the Cambewarra Lookout for breakfast or for my favourite, the curly fries. And if you really want the best of the best go to Flame in North Nowra and ask for their garlic prawns and bread to mop up the sauce. The prawns are not on the menu so you have to ask for them. If you are really hungry try their pork ribs which are to die for plus the Greek salad and pizza. To be really decadent try their pizzas as well. I’m not on commission but these young people are tops. If you are into the best fish and chips, actual awards, go to the Pelican Rocks at Greenwell Point, breakfast and lunch only. How about high tea at Cambewarra Estate? Other than the lookout you will need to book ahead. With Flame you will need to order the ribs and prawns.

We absolutely loved this cottage! Trev was such a thoughtful host, providing fresh bread, eggs, fruit, and wine. The house is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Before our arrival, Trev sent us a very detailed email with great local tips. We visited the art museum and the rooftop cafe he recommended, and both were fantastic.However, the absolute highlight of this stay was the wildlife. There are wombats and kangaroos right outside! Seeing the wombats grazing every night was a truly amazing experience. Highly recommended!

It is the home away from home you need to decompress & rejuvenate. The cottage has all the comforts you need with plenty of local wildlife glimpses & visits. The sunrises & open skys mean that you will never be short of shooting stars & magical morning moments. I was lucky enough to witness some ‘once in 300yr’ events & it was all worth it! Loved our stay here, the view from the full length windows was really nice. Tranquil and relaxing stay with everything you need and a very comfortable bed. Did you wanna view? Absolutely

This single BR cottage had an amazing open area and was so peaceful and relaxing to unplug and unwind. The goodies that were stocked were a pleasant surprise on arrival. Trevor was a fantastic host that had great suggestions for everything we wanted to try out while in the region. The view was amazing regardless of the weather as we enjoyed the view out on the patio as well as inside behind the exterior French doors that open up if you don't want to sit outside. Thanks Trevor and family for sharing your wonderful property with us.
