We stayed here on our honeymoon, location was great with ability to walk easily into town. While we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the welcome gift, the room didn’t look as nice as the photos which was disappointing given it was a special trip for us.

I had read reviews but they don’t do justice to this fabulous hotel. We stayed in an apartment. It was incredible. Of all of our time in Italy traveling this was the best. The staff was friendly and lovely to work with. We ate dinner in their restaurant. Normally I stay away from hotel restaurants but I had the Sicilian style grouper. It was the best dinner I had in the 3 weeks I have been traveling. The waiters and staff were wonderful. The views from the restaurant are beautiful, overlooking the water. They have a lovely pool and small workout room if you want to use it. I highly recommend this hotel.

On our trip to Sicily this was our favorite hotel. In fact, it kind of spoiled us for the hotels that followed afterwards! The building was beautiful both inside and out, with charming touches at every turn. Our hotel room had the MOST BEAUTIFUL ocean view, and the top floor dining room, where a fabulous breakfast was served, had endless ocean views and sea breezes. We ate dinner one night at their restaurant and it was perfection. We cannot recommend this hotel enough!

Villa Carlotta is a treasure. Easy walk to restaurants and shops. The ruins are a 10 minute walk. The views are beautiful, especially from their nice restaurant. We booked one of their luxury apartments nearby, and it was spacious with two bedrooms and bathrooms, with a wonderful view, and near a lovely public garden. Beds were very comfortable and there was a living room, kitchen, and washing machine. Water pressure was good. AC in all rooms. There is a shuttle to a beach club associated with hotel. The staff were completely attentive and friendly to us. We felt valued and cared for. Stay here!

Very nice hotel but you do pay for it. Enjoyed the breakfast and other meals we had on our stay. 5-10 minutes walk to lots of very good restaurants. We had a late flight back but the hotel kindly let us check out at 6pm which was a great help. For the amount you are spending I would have expected a bottle of water by the bed each night but you had to sort yourself or pay from the mini bar.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is well appointed, with attention paid to the little details that make it unique. We stayed in the tower suite which was very spacious and comfortable. The staff are so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The food is excellent, fresh, and well prepared/presented. We will stay again when we visit the area.
