The front staff was superb, breakfast was great, the price was right, and the room was clean. But I have two notes. First, the bed sheets were not clean. No problem: the front desk person was apologetic and switched us to a second room immediately. Second, the smell of cleaning solvents in the room and hallways was so strong that my wife was sneezing all night and we had to wash all clothes we brought into the room, even those that we never wore, immediately on returning home to get the smell out. This is not the first time I've encountered a hotel that over-killed on cleaning solvents, but this time it was particularly notable.

The biggest headache during our two night stay was the fire alarm going off at 2am JUST after we went to sleep from being new Years eve night. The alarm went off and continued for about 5 mins ...we got dressed started to head out of the room...and the alarm stopped. We then tried to go back to sleep...then the alarm went off again and went off sporadically for the next half hour...it was an absolute NIGHTMARE....The room was nice, location was great....but the alarm issues tremendously messed up a good stay.

If you need a clean place to sleep and nothing else then this might be a good fit. There is very little else for comfort or convenience in this hotel. Tiny lobby. Tiny breakfast area. Too difficult to move around the hotel in general, not because it is too small but because it is poorly laid out. It has good clean rroms but is not your traditional good hotel like a Courtyard or Townplace Suites. If it was notably less expensive than the competition then it might be a good option but at nearly the same cost this facility is a disappointment.
