Definitely not luxury, aged cobwebs in room, as well as insects. Mismatched towels/ face towels, basic Kmart bath mat. Spa had flakes coming off jets and no evidence of how it is cleaned between guests. Also in guest lounge of a night, no idea how to light the room except with the lamps, and also air con remote no where to be seen.

It was unique...... Warm, cosy, interesting, private, safe, quiet, central to tourist attractions, IGA etc. I attended a wedding 5 mins drive at Shambala Estate 5 mins to Curtis Falls, 15 mins to St Bernards Hotel. Loved my 2 night stay.

The place is well presented on the Expedia webpage, however there was no reception, no standard facilities available in the room, no standard tv services like Netflix or other entertainment. The room smelled dusty and not refreshed for a while.The outdoor area looked nice but enjoyable weather permitting.

My partner and i had an amazing evening away from the kids. This place is quiet, peaceful and relaxing. A beautifully maintained yard next to a flowing creek amongst the backdrop of a rain forest area where we were able to just enjoy each others company. The room with the spa just topped our stay off nicely. Found it clean and easy to use all facilities. Thankyou so much, we will be back when we can

Unique setting in an old, character filled setting. Very peaceful and quiet in the Rainforest suite, with a picturesque yard for relaxing in the afternoon sun. The staff we're lovely & helpful and we didnt see another guest, so it felt very private. Location was short walking distance to many sights and shops We will definitely be coming back and would recommend

The property sits below the road line nestled in manicured surroundings. Guests have access to the tranquil rear garden complete with pagoda, bean bags and a babbling brook where one can relax with a bottle amidst unspoilt nature, the sounds of wildlife all around, particularly at dusk. The rooms have high ceilings and beautifully appointed. A perfect setting from where one has access to all the treats Tamborine has to offer.
