Nestled in the trees of a fully wooded neighborhood, this spacious home is only 3 miles from town and less than a mile from the community path leading to majestic views of Mt. Denali! This warm, remote home is conveniently accessible to all Talkeetna has to offer. Perfect for large families with beds for 12 people. Cozy up to the fireplace after a full day sightseeing, take in the surrounding nature on the wrap-around covered porch, or cook dinner together with family and friends.
PLEASE NOTE: HOUSE HAS STAIRS ENTERING THE HOUSE AND GOING FROM THE FIRST FLOOR TO THE SECOND FLOOR.

The 1.5-acre lot is surrounded by trees and lawn. The open downstairs has wood floors with a bar top separating the dining area from the living room. Go out to eat at one of the town's great restaurants or stay in and cook with the fully stocked kitchen. Amenities include drip coffee maker, toaster, toaster oven, waffle maker, gas stove and oven, microwave, refrigerator, double basin sink. The dining area has a large extendable table for large group seating. There is also a small work station/breakfast bar just outside the kitchen. The half bath is conveniently located downstairs. In the living room there is a 43” flat screen smart TV with surround sound, Blu Ray player with numerous movies. Relax in the recliner, sleeper chair or couch in the adjacent living room and enjoy a warming fire in the fireplace with wood provided. The couch folds out into a queen bed for additional sleeping space. For those working away from home, there is a large working desk upon entry and high-speed unlimited internet available.
Upstairs are the 3 bedrooms with carpet throughout. The master bedroom has a queen bed with memory foam cover and its own separate bathroom with sliding glass door on this shower/tub. Brand new 2 person infrared sauna to relax in.
The second bedroom has a twin-over-full bunk bed and includes a twin trundle for extra sleeping area. The third bedroom has a full-size bed with twin trundle underneath and another twin bed. All bedrooms have closets and two of the rooms have large dressers for storage.
The separate upstairs bathroom includes a curtained tub and shower. The room also houses a washer and dryer for guest use with laundry soap provided.
The covered wrap around deck has a large table with chairs if you want to sit outside and relax while staying out of the rain or summer heat.
The house is fully stocked with towels and linens, along with the fun stuff like cards, board games, books, and puzzles.
The entire house is yours to enjoy. The separate garage and storage shed are not permissible for guest use. Plenty of private parking is available. We keep one closet locked inside the house for our housekeeping needs.
As we are owner operators, we are available as much as possible and will respond to texts or phone calls within a few minutes. While staying with us, we give you space to enjoy the area. However, we are only a text away.
• Please respect the area and the neighborhood.
• There is a wood stove and is yours to use if you have experience with them. Otherwise the monitor heater is the primary heat source. We supply a small amount of wood for ambiance. Please bring extra which can be purchased at many of the grocery stores and gas stations on the way to the Green House.
• Outdoor firepit use is only permissible when fire danger is low, unless a burn permit is filed. Guests are to bring their own wood for use in the firepit, reserving the wood provided for indoor use only.
• This is a non-smoking house. If you wish to smoke, please take it outside on the covered deck or beyond.
• There is no dishwasher installed at this time. You will have to hand-wash any dishes you use.
