Great location, poor condition

Location was great, The room wasn't so much. The bathroom was in bad condition, the floor was sunken in at places. There were two types of sockets in the room (110 and 220), the 220 was clearly burnt and blackened (probably for obvious reasons). Hallways smelt bad. Not accessible (several stairs lead to elevator). Elevator always stops at the 6th floor (by design. For some reason). Staff didn't know English very well, and wasn't very professional.

Location is not too far from Ximending. There is a good braised pork rice eatery just below the building, a 7-Eleven opposite, and a medicine shop nearby. Room is filled with mosquitoes, and the lift is slow.

Excellent Location in Ximending!

The staff at The Longstay were very helpful and accommodating of every request. The newly renovated rooms are very comfortable and modern looking and have good WIFI and TV channels. The location in Ximending is excellent and easy to find.

It is located in a very good location in Ximending. You can easily walk to the hotel from MRT Ximen station. Lots of restaurants, shops, and street food. The only downside is that our room smells smoke although we booked non-smoking room.

Hotel nice place to stay but need take note its nor big for large size people and there steps up to the lift at the ground floor so need to carry your luggage up these steps. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Nice budget hotel in a good location. Its close enough to the Ximen action but in a quieter area. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Ximen station is about a 10 minute walk. Being so close to Ximen Walker, theres so many eateries & shopping to choose from. Room size is ok for 2 people & wifi works well. If your just looking for somewhere on a budget to sleep without all the luxeries then Longstay is perfect.

Hotel manager is good and give clear directions & introduce places of interest & getting around ximen. Hotel location average, 6-8 mins walk to ximen mrt. Room is ok but pillow soft. Bathroom need some touch up. Overall, ok.

I would like to commend all the staff. The frontdesk officers are super nice. The room is just about the right size, bed and pillows are comfy. However the floor carpet is kind of dirty. I think they need to maintain the floor carpet well.
