We have problems with the shower. The jet is very fine and it hurts like needles piercing. Moreover, one doesn’t feel clean after a shower. The breakfast is quite pathetic as the selection is limited and most dishes are the same everyday. Other than these, I am quite happy. The room is spacious and clean. The staffs are welcoming and courteous.

Location location location. The ease of public transport from Royal Inn to the green line is just a few steps away. Once on the green line, transfer to any line in just a few stops. Exit 3 has no escalators, but if you can manage the stairs, the station is 10 steps from the hotel front door. But if you are like me, walk to the end of the block and use exit 4, up and down escalators! Hotel entrance isn’t huge and signs are hard to spot. The hotel itself is right next to PoYa/Diaso, very convenient. Take the elevator to the 8th floor to check in and for breakfast buffet. The rooms are a bit small and dated, but clean. Towels and room is refreshed daily and the staff are all very friendly. Lots of dining and shopping options within steps of the hotel. 7/11 is in the alley across the street. There is a lady that sells breakfast rice rolls from a cart in front of the subway station Exit 3 , must try, she’s there from 10-3 daily. Ding Tai Fung is in the mall across the street, line up by 1030-1045 for a ticket and you will get seated on the first seating that opens at 11am. Overall good hotel at this price point, best location.

Best location convenient and good price

Stay location was great. No amenities like toothbrush or comb. So please pack your own! 3 doors from zhongshan mrt. Highly recommend it. Only complaint was carpet in the long room suite needed a carpet clean.

Restroom needs improvement

Overall this hotel is good. The only drawback is it’s restroom. Customers have to shower in a high bathtub which is easy to create an accident. Also the design of the restroom doesn’t have enough room for the customers to keep their toiletries in there and they will have problems to reach out to the towels too. However, other than the above listed inconvenience, the room is clean and spacious. This is what we enjoyed the most.

It was a little bit hard to find the entrance because it’s in a business building and the sign was not obvious. But once you get up to the eighth floor the entrance, the hotel is actually nicely decorated, clean, the staff are friendly and breakfast is good. The hotel should improve on its signage so people can find it easier. Otherwise it’s terrific.

This is a budget hotel. The good parts are: 1) 5 minutes walking distance to MRT station and close to department stores. 2) DAISO is at its ground & 1st floor. 3) Breakfast is okay. 4) Provides free drinking water on each floor. The problems are: 1) Room conditioner does not have heater. 2) The bath tub is abnormally high. User may hit the ceiling while showering. You also need to lean down to wash your hair.

Overall experience was good. Great location no doubt. Check in staff were very helpful. Breakfast was not impressed but acceptable. Room size was ok. The sofa inside our room was a little disgusting with weird smelling. Bathroom lighting was not enough and needs more hooks for hanging towels and clothes.

I couldn't recommend this place more. Location super convenient, helpful staff, clean and newly renovated room. Free and easy to use laundry. Despite its size it's got a bath which is so handy when you're out and about walking 20000 steps every day!

Super convenient location as the entrance to MTR was less than 2 minutes walking distance. Would definitely stay at again but note that the AC wasn't ideal in my room as it wasn't working. They did give me a fan though.
