Nice, but Noisy

Excellent location for visiting prime historical sites by foot. Lots of good food in the area too. But hotel is on a corner and all rooms face one or the other of two busy streets. Traffic runs until wee hours of the morning and even later. I couldn't sleep due to noise.

Excellent Location

Excellent location, within easy walking distance of many historical sights, cafes and restaurants in Tainan. Staff is very helpful. Free bicycles for guests. Just one negative criticism: rooms facing the street are very noisy throughout the night.

The front desk staff whom I checked in with was not passionate for his job at all. He didn’t even advise me of how to get to room or ask me if there’s anything I want to know. The breakfast was nice. The condition of room was fine compared to its price. A very small room but It was quite cheap. The location is great of many shops near by. Few minutes walk you can get to a famous spot- Tainan Confuciis Temple.

A nice stay with an affordable rate

Convenient location. Near famous Confucius Temple. Close to several historical landmark in Tainan City. Hotel is affiliated with Teachers organization and provides same affordable rate to public. Hotel furnishes full local and simple Western style breakfast. A nice added value for the stay. Room is clean with a remodeled full bathroom.

Room is clean, spacious, and bright, bed is comfortable and staff is very helpful. Everything is great. Just, the dryer was not very efficient in drying heavy cloth and might need some cleaning. It is a little bit dusty, perhaps, due to not many guests actually use it, but overall, the laundry room is still pleasant to use for self service. They do offer pick up cleaning for the room service if you do not want to do laundry your own.

Helpful staff. Limited English. Asked every day of our 6 day stay if we wanted the room cleaned. No heat on relatively cool (50 F) nights and days.

Our go-to hotel, if available!

Excellent value and great location. Can't walk to the train station (could, but it'd take close to 30 mins), but right next to the High Speed Rail free shuttle bus stop (the bus that goes to the City Government building). You can look up the schedule on the HSR website. Decent Asian breakfast, and bread items as alternatives. Short taxi ride to major attractions. Also next to some historical places (Confucius Temple, Li-Li Fruit stand, Steamed pork rice dumplings, etc...)

Without lifts, it was inconvenient for travelers with luggages that has rollers. Good sized room for 4 persons. Air Con was dripping water at night Nevertheless room was clean.

Spacious room

Double room was spacious. There is bathtub available. Home cooked breakfast available. However, could hear running water from next door. Also, spotted short hairs on the pillow casing and bed sheet.
