In general, everything was as expected by viewing the pictures online, but the way that the entire house flowed was even better… Every one of the guests had an amazing time and we can’t wait to book the same home again in the future

Wonderful stay! The house was super clean, a spectacular view of the lake, and a very well stocked kitchen! Our only suggestion would be that the owners check the gas stove in the kitchen- 2 of the burners were not working. Our family spent Thanksgiving here and had a wonderful time! Highly recommend!

Great stay!

We loved our stay at the Pear House! The house is beautifully appointed with a spectacular view of the lake. It’s well stocked, extremely clean and was the perfect house for our two families. We will definitely be coming back!

What a great house for a big group. Spacious, lots of natural light, great kitchen and appliances. The bedrooms and baths were nicely appointed. The bed and linens were great, The hot tub came in handy after skiing.

Great stay!

The house was great and well appointed. Only downside is the neighborhood doesn't allow access to the beach club for short term rentals. But otherwise we had a great time and highly recommend!

Beautiful house

The house was even nicer than in the pictures. Our whole group was very happy with the property. Plenty of room in the kitchen for a group to cook. Living spaces upstairs and downstairs are both great. Definitely would come back. Only complaint is none of the Dollar Point HOA areas are available to short term rental guests.

Family Trip to Tahoe

From the second we got there we new we made the right choice of houses. Everything from the size and layout of the house to the amazing views of the lake. It was a perfect house for families. Lots a room and multiple levels so there was room for everyone. The Jacuzzi was set out on the deck, perfect for relaxing after a long day on the lake or shopping or even site seeing. I would definitely recommend this house to friends.

Almost perfect

Our family enjoyed our stay. The view of the lake was lovely. Plenty of room for everyone. Downside.. Lake Tahoe in general is extremely crowded. We needed to drive through stop and go traffic to go anywhere. The home is located in the Dollar point community. The community has a pool, tennis courts and a private beach. Rental guests may not use any of the facilities. The beach was guarded.

Spectacular

The place is spectacular. We enjoyed the gorgeous views of the lake and mountains. It was quiet but very close to all the amenities in Tahoe City and Kings Beach. The kitchen was amazing- very well stocked with dishes, pots and pans. Even a bread maker and kitchen aid mixer! We had meals on the amazing deck and just soaked in the ambience. We traveled in early May with our college age kids. There was plenty of space to spread out. But also loved playing pool and soaking in the hot tub together. Wonderful! We cannot wait to do it again.

The Pear House

We really enjoyed our stay at the beautifully remodeled home. Had all the amenities as promised in the description. Close drive to several ski resorts and when not skiing we were in close proximity to the town and plenty of time spent in the game room and jaccuzzi. Would definitely recommend. Only problem was taking the trash with us. I placed a call to the management to locate where to dump the trash and did not receive a call back.
