If you are planning a trip to Sweden, you are very welcome to rent our guesthouse, Lillhuset, overlooking Lake Ullna in Täby, 20 min North of Stockholm City. A peaceful and beautyful oasis and still only 10 min drive from the best and 2nd largest shopping mall in Sweden, Täby Centrum,

The cottage is located in the countryside with easy access to several roads to Stockholm City, Uppsala, Norrtälje, Åkersberga, the Coast of Roslagen, Sigtuna etc. It is within 10-15 min walking distance to the highly ranked golf course Ullna GC and Arninge GK.

Its a 2 storey modern guesthouse built in 2003, with a fully equipped kitchen / diner / dishwasher / fridge / freezer / espresso machine / coffee-brewer, bathroom with shower and washing machine downstairs and an open plan living space upstairs, divided into a living room with a wide sofa and single bed, a sleeping area with 2 single beds (can be put together to a double bed) and a dressing area, all in all 40 sq meters.

The two floors are connected by a spiral staircase.

Outside the entrance on the lower floor you've got tables and chairs where you can enjoy your breakfast or lunch in the sun and on the upper floor outside the patio door you've also got tables and chairs to enjoy the evening sun.

It's the perfect holiday cottage to stay at while exploring the surroundings, the archipelago, fishing, walking trails, biking, boating and of course golfing, or go shopping in Stockholm City or any of the close coastal towns / villages.

To get to and from and around here you will need a car. There are buses but not on a very frequent timetable.

Guests have the option to order freshly baked bread / sweets in the mornings, baked by us in the mainhouse.

Wonderful cottage with everything you need

I’ve stayed at this cottage twice during my travels to Sweden. I’ve enjoyed my time here and had everything I needed. The kitchen is fully stocked, plus access to a washing machine and drying space is very much appreciated for longer visits. The property hosts are lovely people who are extremely friendly and helpful. Absolutely recommend this property!

Amazing!

The owners were so welcoming and helpful. They provided so many amazing recommendations and tips. They made the experience so much more full and enjoyable. The little “cottage” was so cute and peaceful. They had just about everything you need. I would not hesitate to go back or book with them again. It was worth every penny. It was a beautiful alternative to staying downtown in Stockholm.

This was our first time in Sweden and the hosts were very helpful and went above and beyond in providing information and recommendations for bars and restaurants as well as other attractions in the general Stockholm area.

Wouldn't stay anywhere else but here in Stockholm

The cottage is as cute as can be, small but just right-sized. Location outside Stockholm is close enough to easily get in and out of City, not far from the airport yet quiet enough that you can relax. Martina and Anders were wonderful hosts, providing fresh baked bread and cake. We stayed here just as the coronavirus was ramping up with borders closing, flights being cancelled etc yet they were very generous with their help and offers. Can't wait to come back to Sweden and Stockholm, only next time in the summer and will definitely stay here again!

Des hôtes charmants accueillants prêts à répondre à tous vos besoins et de très bon conseil pour les visites. Une maison indépendante typiquement suédoise avec absolument tout l'équipement nécessaire. Vous y êtes comme chez vous. Les oiseaux chantent dans le grand jardin et tout cela à 35mn de Stockholm. On y est tellement bien que les vacances paraissent trop courtes !

Wonderful getaway

The guest house was very easy to find and not far from Stockholm at all by car! Martina and Anders were extremely helpful with advice on things to do in and around Stockholm. The advice and suggestions were invaluable with public transportation especially. They even gave us tips for the other places we were going to stay at in Sweden! The cottage was small and perfect for us. Kitchen worked great and the beds were comfortable. Definitely recommend for anyone who wants to be disconnected from the web and just enjoy the beauty of the Swedish landscape. The walk to and around the lake was very enjoyable. If we find ourselves in the Täby/Stockholm area again, we would definitely stay again!

Our hosts were extremely welcoming and helped us with advice on day trips. They were very thoughtful and leant us some toys for our toddler. The house was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. The spiral stairs were a little tricky though!

It was a very nice house in the surrounding of Stockholm (20min by car) in between 2 golfcourses. The owners (Martina and Anders) were very friendly. Their hospitality was great. We do recommend this place if you want to visit Sweden.

We were greeted by Martina and Anders with smiles and notes on what to see around the area and around Sweden in general. They had baked us treats and had them in the house and again when we left for our flight. Right next to a lake and not to far from entertainment in surrounding areas. We felt very welcome and very well taken care of. It was the perfect quiet get away after spending a week in busy Stockholm. The house was great, but our experience was made even better by our hosts! Wir haben uns im gemütlichen Lillhuset sehr wohl gefühlt. Als wir ankamen war die Tür für uns geöffnet und ein Kuchen stand zur Begrüßung bereit. Die Küche hatte eine bessere Ausstattung als erwartet. Sogar Kaffeekapseln, Zucker, Tee, Gewürze und Zutaten wie Öl und Essig standen zur Verfügung. Ebenso Reinigungsmittel, Tabs für die Spülmaschine und Waschmittel.Es ist klein, bietet aber alles was benötigt wird. Im oberen Stockwerk sind die Betten und ein gemütlicher Wohnbereich. Für unsere Kleidung gab es ein Sideboard.Wem die Treppe innen zu eng ist, der kann außen um das Haus gehen und von hinten ins Obergeschoss gehen.WLAN war jederzeit vorhanden. Wie beschrieben ist es sinnvoll ein Auto zu haben. Die öffentlichen Mittel fahren hier nicht so oft. Vom nahe gelegenen Einkaufszentrum Arninge kommt man aber überall mit Bus oder Bahn hin. Die Vermieter waren immer zu erreichen und bei allen Fragen sehr hilfsbereit. Martina ist eine sehr gute Bäckerin :)

This has been our second time at Anders and Martina wonderful cabin.Martina and Anders are very kindly and they always give us a warm welcome. The house is cozy and located in a really beautiful and peaceful place. It is very comfortable and has everything needed to spend a few days or even a couple of weeks. Oase der Ruhe

Das Haus liegt in mitten der Natur und ist komplett ausgestattet mit allem was das Herz begehrt. Wir wurden sehr freundlich mit einem leckeren Kuchen empfangen. Ankommen und abschalten. Trotzdem ist man sehr zentral und innerhalb fünf Minuten bei Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und am Bus Bahnhof, hier fährt in kurzen Abständen die Linie 670 direkt nach Stockholm. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
